I honestly find it quite humerus when you do something silly instead of it being professional. Regardless of what the name is or what it means, if its silly I'm gonna like it.

I would have thought they'd be paying their players with love and girlfriends. Kind of like Clauf then.

On a plus side it is good to hear about a team that's actually starting rather than yet another one that's folding.

You might try reading the damn write up before posting about shit. The owner has already said he runs his own business, and this is basically another project that he has funded himself already for awhile now. They seem like good guys judging by the effort they are making to reach out to the community and the time and effort they are putting into the scene. And it doesn't say "one investor" singular. Just one investor that has offered to fund the whole professional team. So there could easily be more sponsors and more investors willing to pitch in as well. Eventually, a team has to start somewhere if they are going to do anything, if they start getting some results more sponsors/investors can come on board. I don't see why all these people have to come in here with this overwhelmingly negative attitude before even having all the information. It's quite ridiculous

Too many players and many of them aren't pros. The team started more like a community and now wants to be a pro team. They will probably cut 2 thirds of the players or pay only 2-3 players total which also doesn't look good. (creates jealousy and etc) And most importantly if you were a sponsor why would you sponsor exactly this team? What differs this team from the others? What is their biggest plus - popularity, fanbase, players, streamers, ... girlfriends? I don't exclude the chance that someone wants to sponsor them for good but let's hope it'll last. It's just that if you analyze it, it's hard to believe. P.S adorable banner. Even though it's said that it's irrelevant, it shows a good, healthy esports releationship. Something rare nowadays...

The one investor funding everything sounds quite risky though

Hyun just got scammed out of 23K. And this thread comes up? Lmao, this has to be a joke. How is this even allowed to happen lmao? This SC2 that big of a joke now? People are now making threads saying: "Attention SC2 community, we are going to start a team to scam some more players!" and no one does anything. Someone please contact Genius and Tassadar and let them know that this will end up fucking them over.

While we should be wary, we should also welcome this investor putting money into the scene, and pray that they invest in a sustainable way and for the long term.

This thread is so painfully familiar that it's hilarious to me. It's happened with so many other "teams" that end up being scams. No legitimate team just pops up with no recognition/support behind it. It's another scam. Wake up SC2 community. People need to contact Genius and Tassadar and tell them to stay away from these people.

People need to contact Genius and Tassadar and tell them to stay away from these people. Then contact them and tell them what you think you know, otherwise you're not helping anyone out, you're just running a teams name through the mud for no reason. No player from LYGF has come forward saying they weren't paid and it's ridiculous of you to just assume otherwise....
