A Documentary about Australian Pro-Gamers.

In 2012, WCS Australia/Oceania proved to be the biggest eSports tournament on Australian soil to date. However, since its conclusion, a number of notable Australian Starcraft pro-gamers have retired and disappeared from the scene. Australia, having been on the verge of breaking into the international scene as a contending nation, is now further than it looks. With little sponsorship support, small prize pools and players living in a land so isolated from the rest of the world, will the promises of the newly announced WCS America Oceania Qualifiers and a plethora of newly announced events in 2014 help Australian pro-gamers compete on the world stage?
What? Mates of Starcraft
Why? Because I want to show the world about the amazing community in Australia, and the hard working people behind it. Try to bring some much needed support to our region.
How? Using my camera and minimal film making skills to do the best job i possibly can by myself.
Who? The figures behind Australian eSports, The fans, the players, the investors.
Where? Events around Australia that are in 2014. Footage from 2012/2013 will not be mine. It will be available to watch on my YouTube and livestreamed on Twitch
When? When I feel like it is ready.Possibly episodic instalments throughout late 2014.
Money? Nope. Kickstarter? You taking the piss mate? I’m not taking any donations, because I’m not going to make money off of the video, nor will the quality of it be worthy.
