For me, Flash/Ty/Stats/Zest is better than sOs/Maru/Pigbaby/(Cure?).

Still, SKT and CJ should be clear favorites.

TRUE and Savage are better than Stats and pretty equal with Zest IMO. Both zergs have been in Code S recently and are really good in team leagues especially. CoCa also looking really good lately. Terminator is really good too.

KT has bad zergs, decent protosses. Flash and TY are really strong though.

completely agree with the last sentence. flash is the only one on KT who has a decent shot against maru and sos.

Zest, TY & Stats all are potentially better than sos&maru. Just depends on form and practice environment. Chances are that KT is very well practiced given that they had many months to prepare for proleague.

You can also say that TRUE/Savage/CoCa/Pigbaby/Terminator are potentially better than Flash/TY/Zest. BUT Maru and sOs being better than all of KT is just a raw fact based on recent performances.

I think it's obvious that JinAir has the stronger roster.

Maru does well for three months after three years of middling performances and people think he's better than Flash?

Haven't people been beating the Flash drum since last year? And yet he is totally invisible. I guess he won a few games in pro league but his team didn't even win the PL.

Won the most games in proleague...I dont like flash that much but give him the respect he's earned

But he didn't win anything. Winning games means nothing. Particularly if its only in PL. Winning tournaments deserves respect. Even Jaedong has now won something.

JD gets flown all over the world to play in foreign tournaments and plays in easy WCS NA. Flash had to deal with a Parting Life Innovation RO16 group while Jaedong got 2-0d by theognis in the first round of WCS NA Challenger and dropped a game to Drunkenboi.

Jaedong was looking for his motivation which he found. Flash chose the easy way with the high salary and taken care of team house.
Give JD props for trying out something new.

I'm sorry but how exactly is playing exclusively in WCS KR and not having opportunities in many foreign tournaments the "easy way"

If you joined TL in late 2011 obviously you wouldn't understand that you don't write off Flash after one slump and that he is considerably more talented than Maru. Obviously he wasn't as good for the second half of 2013 and he might still be worse now, but I don't see why Maru would be favored to do better than Flash in proleague. It lasts for half a year which is more than enough time for Flash to regain form. Of course, all pending on whether he stays motivated.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

Protoss so imba they physically damage the opposing player. D:

His neck problems apparently make certain in game actions hard to perform, and those actions appear mainly in TvP, iirc.

being condescending only makes you look like a dick, it doesn't help your argument, join date is no indicator of experience in the sports scene.

no indicator? how about maru severely outperforming flash for the last half year?

Yeah he should have beat San if it werent for that clutch storm on Belshir or Mvp kind of throwing away the Derelict Watcher game

I wish narrowly losing to San made up for not so narrowly losing to foreigners all the time.

But hmm, I'll take what hope I can get, would be nice if he improved his TvP form.

I recall certain article on TL that was posted prior to last proleague season and had similar ratings (tl-eg on #1) :D

Personally I don't think Jin Air will win it all but they are a KeSPA team so they will probably be pretty proleague focused so I think they will still do fairly well with their roster.

I think Jin Air is a pretty solid top 3 team but SKT or CJ are the favorite to win proleague.

Also Flash is nowhere near Maru's level, don't kid yourselves. His mechanics are almost as good as Maru's but his game sense and ability to prepare for opponents is bottom-tier among progamers.

First off join date is a silly thing to pull out.
Secondly, when has Flash shown that he is, "considerably more talented than Maru" at SC2? I'll go ahead and tell you, pretty much never. Maru has outplayed Flash through all of HotS, and there is virtually no evidence to say that Flash is better than Maru at this game. Maybe because of your early join date (such hipster, so impress) you are still living in Brood War.
