Jaedong gives them performance and popularity in one package, if they are going to pick up more Koreans it's going to have to be someone pretty spectacular. Mid level? Alive was one of only two players to make the ro8 of a season finals twice. I'm pretty sure that makes him top two in the world. the one time was a fluke, he filled jim's spot didnt he?

I thought for sure they would keep aLive. He was by far the best Terran on their roster.

Honestly, it's difficult for me to respect EG when they so blatantly favor popularity over skill, and basically throw these Korean players under the bus like this.

Okay getting in was a fluke but beating Scarlett and the defending KR champ Maru 2-0, 2-0 were not flukes .
But obviously /s on the first post.

Correct. He did make it to the Ro8 both times, though.

If their players aren't popular, less people want to watch them, and EG makes less money. It's tough but it's the nature of business.

Other possibilities are MVP and Prime, MVP because they may (RUMOR) be losing a few more players in addition to Duckdeok and need to swell their ranks and Prime because aside from Creator, Maru, and Byun all their players are quite inexperienced. Just some positive thoughts in a negative situation Oh, I would be happy with that. Gogo to Proleague, guys!

If only Ax.aLive could happen, it would be awesome to see him tearing up the GSTL again.

Only issue with that is TB has stated that Axiom-Acer has no plans to split in the near future. And what's the last thing Ax-Acer needs? Terrans. (Ryung, Heart, Inno, MMA).
