I always liked more the streaming on the GOM Player, I hope Twitch doesn't lag as hell like usually was doing for me on some tournaments -_- realistically speaking it should not lag at all.gom has sc2 matches at around 9am-11am european time when no major tournaments or streamers are on.twitch does not lag that much during early morning and lunch.lag occurs mostly during the evening when there are a lot of streamers and tournaments on

Having to watch a stream with a player felt archaic to me.

Quite a nobrainer i would say Well, this doesn't make any sense either. Twitch is not a charity, so they need to pay for the very same costs somehow, how do they do it? If it is from ads or a cut from the subsriction, why can't GOM do the same?

If it is from ads or a cut from the subsriction, why can't GOM do the same? Because it is cheaper to use twitch, because they spread the cost across all their streams and income. The same with YouTube. I think Husky said it would cost him 50K a month to host his videos himself, rather than work with YouTube.

Although that's really dumb of them because you can't adblock the twitch app as far as I know. I hope mobile is permitted. It's nice to listen to the cast at work.

Is that a name given before or after the gangnam style hit went viral? :D well good thing you said it was stupid first it is a district of Seoul. Wikipedia/Google could have answered this in less than 30 seconds.. Psy chose gangnam as name for his song because of what the area is. "Wondering if you ever checked what the lyrics mean?"

In general I don't like to watch vods on twitch. The video player of YouTube is way better and I think even the vod player of GOM was. And the new name is terrible too. I wonder if Artosis and Tasteless knew about this in advance and tried to prevent it. They are usually the ones who understand how silly most of these Korean name chances are. i am sure the first thing a korean company does when they decide for a name change they ask their foreign employees about it.

At least it's cheaper, but I still wish they hadn't gone with Twitch.
