IvD Gaming is proud to welcome our two newest members, Brandon “PuCK” Qual and Harry “MaSsan” Cheong!
puCK comes to us from ROOT Gaming and is one of the top North American Protoss players by any standard. He was able to build a substantial following as an avid streamer but was able to break out to the rest of world after a stellar run in the WCS Season 1 qualifiers. Following his debut on the main stage, he has performed consistently, making Ro32 in WCS America Seasons 2 and 3 as well as securing his place in 2014 Season 1.
Brandon “puCK” Qual:
“I am good good friends with MaSsan and Apocalypse and would really enjoy being on the same team as them. IvD seems like a team with a lot of potential and I am hoping that we can grow into something big!”
After departure from Quantic Gaming, MaSsan chose to join IvD Gaming and we greatly look forward to working with him as he continues his career. MaSsan is a regular attendee at MLG events with notable wins against Suppy, Ryze, daisuki, and Bly. He streams regularly and is very popular amongst Zerg players trying to learn the race because of his excellent analysis, commentary, and chat interaction.

Amazingly good pickups! IvD really accumulating a great roster between players like Apocalypse, puCK, and MaSsan! Looking forward to seeing more from this the team and its players!

Sorry but I find this post filled with irony. I cannot directly link to it atm, as I am on my phone, but the owner of IvD is a confirmed hacker in the TL thread...Integrity is one thing the owner most certainly does not have, assuming the same guy runs it. Makes me very sad to type something like this as i cheer for puck and also enjoy my games with massan but you cannot really beat around the bush on subjects like this.

I originally did not respond to the post on Team Liquid because I could not find a location to dispute being called a maphacker. I told the opponent who made the accusation originally that I was using a macro key programmed on my mouse to make workers. At the time I was under the impression this was only not allowed at lan events. The player seemed to understand my explanation, but then posted it on Team Liquid as well. I showed the replay to my team and explained what was happening and did not feel the need at the time to respond on team liquid. Not that it has surfaced again, I feel it is time to post this to show that I am not a maphacker, but did use mouse macros for production. This is no longer the case and I apologize for any negative light it has shown towards the organization

Ricky, as with the reddit post that we discusses a while ago, I have looked at the replay several times to try to understand what you are seeing that I am not seeing very clearly in this replay. I can say there are parts that look a bit weird, but same can be said of so many ladder games. This game is particular does show that I was not using mouse macros. I am not sure why you interject this into conversations about the players (which I am not one of). The last post was about apoc and this is about puck and massan, not about me.
I have personally played a lot of ladder games that I felt they had to be a maphacker, your posted replays is not "Proof" as you say it is. To be honest, I do not know any other way to say that I was not maphacking. You are saying you would have more respect if I would admit it, but there is nothing to admin. If there was I would do so. I do not want anything about IvD to be negative, and a post from months ago keeps popping back up and considered 'proof' based on your opinion of the game.
All of that to say, if you have a poor opinion of me, fine, but do not put it into IvD player threads, start and I do not like yogi thread.

Have not watched the replay and I have no idea if you are maphacking, but I agree.
As far as I know macros are illegal in ladder and competitive play. I only use my macro keys on my blackwidow to type "gl hf" and "/dance" but I don't think it's the end of the world lol :/
There is a dedicated thread for guys who are maphacking. The replay should be posted there and discussions can be had in that thread about what exactly he did that makes you think he is map hacking.

Potential has got to be the most meaningless thing a team/player can have nowadays, seeing as how everyone has it :p *cough* CLG *cough, cough*.
Though on a serious note: Haven't heard of MaSsan before but from the recent results he seems pretty legit, gl hf in IvD Gaming, yo!

Nice pick up for this team! Really liking how this team is coming together, of course puCK is one of my favorite NA players so any team he is on is worth following imo :D good luck to them and look forward to following this team !
