I was curious about the main match...what exactly was stopping the person who goes first (junghyun in this case) from just taking all the numbers from start to end? I mean like, he definitely would have to go to the deathmatch but since everybody else would have a tie score of +10 would there be no immunity then? and that first person could then force sangmin to use his immortality token. I realize nobody really wants to go to the deathmatch, but everybody wants to even the playing field with sangmin and tbh it's not gonna happen until somebody takes the sacrifice (it seemed like boxer was gonna try to do this but he decided too late, and everybody got so greedy..."i can't pass this, i need the garnets" was so stupid) | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I just skimmed through this week because it was another team game. Pretty much the animal kingdom game from ep 1 but changed around. Hella boring since the outcome was already decided from the beginning through the s1 alliance. Funniest part about the episode was Boxer not being chosen for death match because he has 0 garnets.. Senator and Yooyoung in the deathmatch and Yooyoung loses. Dude from s1 decides not to sacrifice himself to let other people live and win, which was hella smart, and people being bitter about it. Next week, with more people coming back, this is obviously going to end up being another team game. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + The rules say that the winner is the one with the lowest negative number. Couldnt the first person just have taken all the numbers to win? At the end, he would be the only one with a negative number (everyone else would be positive). There is a very small chance he also winds up with a positive number depending on the missing block, but even then technically no one wins. | ||

Just clarifying.. sometimes it's small things like this that is the "trick" to an episode... In the 2nd to the last ep of season1, when they had to meet all those strangers, I knew what yellow did was the "solution".. He forgot to ask a very easy bonus question though.. "I answered yes to the last question" | ||

"I answered yes to the last question" I think you are right. The winner of the game has the highest NEGATIVE number (closest to zero). This is repeated two times in the explanation of the game. (specifically @13:20) If the first person buys all the cubes (they are basically free), they would stack up excluding the hidden cube. The only hidden cubes that could destroy this tactic would be a -3,-4,-5 or a -35, since that would make the total positive. It would have been the right choice to buy them all, unless I made a mistake in understanding the rules | ||
