+ Show Spoiler + Why would the producers choose a game that depends so heavily on garnets knowing that there is a high possibility that one of the players will have 0 garnets? I think Yellow should have stood his ground there and not let Jiwon strong-arm him into playing with 15 chips. That was too all-in. In the end, I'm dissapointed that the DM came down to luck.

More than the result of the death-match (Though i think yellows chances would've been better had they both played with more chips, can't fault jiwon for trying to end things the way he did), I find my enjoyment of the show severely reduced just because of the antics of ep6. Sangmin was one of the enjoyable personalities in s1, especially his relationship with sunkyu, but I just cannot get behind him anymore nor find enjoyment in him winning anything. Him, jiwon and yooyoung just come across as so selfish and self-centered to me now i just detest them doing well. I fancy boxers chances to be honest, i think he'll get sent to a few deathmatches, but against idiots like jiwon i think he can come out to fight again. Without the moral pillar yellow had become in the show i think that the next episodes will be very hard to watch. Despite how much I love yellow, perhaps it was a mistake to have any repeat cast members for season 2. All it did was create an atmosphere of 'well shit you're really good, so lets gang up and get rid of you to increase our chances'. If there had been s2 without sangmin and jinho again I wonder how that would have gone. Perhaps by this stage there would be new storylines made and new personalities come out to shine, even though there might have been less initial hype.

Even if they had 50 chips Jiwon is still going to all-in because of the 2 and to try to make it a quick game, and Jinho is still going to have to call because of the Jiwon is showing 2. Anyway, as much as I hated the outcome, this episode was at least more like what "The Genius" should be like with a fun game and crazy death match. Did you notice this episode, Hongchul and Jiwon agreeing to work with Jinho, and Yooyoung working with Boxer? Seems the broadcaster alliance was a little willing to mix up after what happened last week. And now that Jinho is gone there's no really scary outsider, so I think Boxer will get a fair chance.

The mixup was just for cameras -_-. They still choose jinho even though jinho told jiwon about the dice.

Most likely they realized they were used by sangmin. Sangmin was the main reason that alliance was formed, he was always insisting that yellow was so fearful that they should eliminate him as soon as possible and outcast anyone that helped yellow. But on episode 6 sangmin overlapped overwhelmingly yellow's menace by winning 30~ garnets + the token of immortality. He fooled his allies when he said he was going to give dohee his token so he could choose boxer and yellow instead of one the broadcaster's alliance, so the broadcasters agreed on giving the bombs to sangmin so he could win again and obtain even more garnets. When the token given resulted as fake, everybody saw clearly sangmin had been using them all along. No wonder they all split up from him. And the game, even though being an improvement over the last ones, more than requiring being more skillful than the rest, it relied heavily on who had the most garnets. Sangmin had to buy 3 dices and switch 1 useless dice with the congressman to get the perfect dices. Yooyun + boxer bought 4 dices between them both and still got crappy combinations. The trick wasn't that hidden nor subtle as the one with the cards. Just by watching sangmin garnet count on the name tag at the end and the fact that he was being left last to throw the dice was indicative enough that he won the game even before the first dice was thrown. Yellow failed both diplomatically and mentally in this episode. He should have foreseen that the all-in meant a probable 2 for him and the consequent draw into coinflip. Guess his head was messed up for screwing it up during the main game.

He should have foreseen that the all-in meant a probable 2 for him and the consequent draw into coinflip. Although perhaps in hindsight that might have been better, he could see that jiwon also had a 2, and if there were 40 cards, 4 of each number and he could see one of the 2's, its so unlikely that he also had a two compared to jiwon just trying to go all in if jinho had a 3 or 4 or whatever. It was the right decision to call, just unfortunate that it ended the way it did.

Jiwon would probably go all-in against a 3 (and perhaps a 4, but more unlikely). I really like that he thought about it though, it wasnt an automatic call, but it was the correct one.

+ Show Spoiler + I think deathmatch is based on luck is killing the show. As much as they try, to save the deathmatch. It is just unentertaining to watch. Ah, Jiwon, in episode 2, he lie about his number because he thought every1 will lie. in episode 4, he gave a strategy of going all in. in episode 6, . . . in episode 7, he make a poor dice, and then choose Yellow, because losing like this will be less embarassed. & he make it all-in. I just feel, he isn't thinking at all. Yoonsun choose BoxeR because she wan to survive the death match. He choose Yellow, because he thought he will lose. And go all-in. And his hat . ![]() It is sad to see Yellow go like this, so many deathmatch based on luck.

Thought it was a really solid main match with a good amount of depth and "Genius" ability. Sangmin showed he's not just a master manipulator but he can play the games well too. With his gigantic lead I would expect others to try to team up and take him down, but it that might not be even possible with heavy individual games coming up. I do think Jiwon and Hongchul were sincere in working with Jinho, and Jiwon had every right to pick Jinho for the deathmatch for agreeing to work together and then running away when he discovered the secret of the dice. Also, it was smart of him to go all-in in this Deathmatch, since that particular game is really Jinho's specialty; if he had played it straight-up I think he definitely would have lost. I don't think Jiwon can win, but I'm impressed that he's gotten this far. He has more intelligent play than Junghyun at least, lol. All up to Yohwan now to represent the progamers. I have been really really disappointed in his diplomatic ability, so lucky for him the individual games are coming up, let's see what he can pull off! Of the remaining contestants, my best guesses for rank is: 1. Sangmin 2/3. Yooyoung/Boxer 4/5. Jiwon/Hongchul 6. Junghyun Upsets can happen for sure though - for example if Sangmin loses the token and then is forced into a memory/pattern DM like the one he lost in S1

+ Show Spoiler + And now with Yellow being out of the game, what appears to be the smartest and most entertaining person left by far, is gone from the show :/ - I guess I will still try and watch it and hope that boxer gets more time to shine, and hopefully will stop being so borring! ![]()

:' ( Thank you so much for all your hard Clefairy. and thank you so much my fellow forum fans to making the discussion to the show as much fun as watching it, but after ep.6 anthics and ep.7 heartbreak, I don't think I will be able to continue watching this season. Sorry Boxer for abandoning you. If there is a third season, I will be back for sure.
