EPTThis interview was made last week, a day before the beginning of the WCS Season 3 finals. That day i also interviewed MarineKing,

eins, Splendid and 4 LoL players together.Those others interview will be posted sometimes next week when i'm done with ESWC. This one is rather short so I took some time to edit it because i think it has some interesting bits.

Q:Last time we talked it was just after Prime announced the arrival of several new players.
How has it been going with the new players ? Are you happy with them ?
A:I feel that they are not ready yet but they are trying really hard to be ready for next season. They are practicing very hard for the upcoming year.
Q;Is there a player in particular where you see a lot of potential ?
A:Definitely TerrOrPrime. I also think that one of our Protoss recruit will end up being very good.
Q:You told me that there were new team jerseys incoming and fans are awaiting them so they can buy them on Primezzang ! Is this coming anytime soon ?
A:We've been quite busy with the recruitment of new players and taking care of the team in general but a new line of Prime clothing will be available next season on PrimeZZang.

rime recently announced withdrawing from eSF and joining KeSPA.This news was a surprise for a lot of fans, and many of them are disappointed that PRIME is not playing GSTL anymore.
Do you think we will see Prime playing a team league again soon ?
A:The move from eSF to KeSPA is part of a procedure to improve the team. I truly believe it is the best option for everyone, the players and the fans.
For the team league, there are still discussions with KeSPA about ProLeague and everything should be decided by december 2013 or the beginning of 2014.
Q:It is no secret that the move to KeSPA was made to help secure a big sponsor that PRIME has been chased since a long time. How are the research going ? Are you getting closer to finally secure this ?
A:Nothing is decided yet but i am discussing with several potential sponsors and some of them were introduced by the KeSPA.
Q:You are known to enter the booth often and you almost always manage to cheer them up and helping them perform at their best. What is your secret ?
A:Actually it's just very simple conversation. If the player won i will just tell him that he did well, if he lost i will give them advice and point out some mistakes that they did and can't see because they are in the booth.
Q:Why do you think other coaches are not doing it as much as you do it ?
A:Other teams don't have a line up with players as young as us. I have to take care of them more and make sure they don't get to nervous.

rime also announced the recruitment of two LoL teams. The competition in South Korea is very tough. What are the objectives for those two teams ?A:The goal in Prime is always being #1. Even tho they failed the last qualifier they entered, i am satisfied with the level of play they showcased. When you know how little time they had to prepare it makes me confident for the future.
Q:I know you come from a Warcraft3 background so you must have tried DotA Allstars at some point ! Was DotA2 ever considered to be added to Prime ?
A:If there was a good opportunity to have a DotA team i would take it but we just added two LoL squads to the team so we are going to focus on this for now.
If 2012 was a wonderful year for Prime, with many championship titles from MarineKing and Creator. 2013 was very dry, apart for MaruPrime rising as one of the very best player in the world.
If there is any pattern in this, it would probably be the fact that Prime players always seems to perform insanely well at a very young age.
Q:What is recipe to MaruPrime's success ? Do you have a secret to craft Starcraft prodigies ?
A:It just that young players listen a lot and say yes to everything i ask !
Q:Unlike many other korean teams, none of the Prime players have attempted to qualify in another WCS Region than Korea. If possible, is there any plan to try to enter qualifiers in other region than Korea for the next season of WCS ?
A:For now i really want to focus on Korea. With that said, if we manage to pick up a big sponsor and some player express a will to play in another region than Korea, i'm down for it.
Q:2013 was also a year with many changes. Where do you think Prime is heading in 2014 ?
A:I would like to recruit a coach or two, especially for LoL. Maybe more Starcraft players. Hopefully finding a new sponsor. Overall i see the team expanding.

A:As the Prime coach and manager, i really appreciate all the support from the fans. With MKP switching and all the recent changes, maybe some fans are disappointed, but i want them to understand that it is all esports and in the end we are all passionate about competitive gaming.

! (Maru and Creator fighting!) Hope we will soon see the new guys too.
. Would love to see Prime playing in proleague but it might be really hard for them because their lineups really thin and and no one, besides Maru, shines in the team right now.
