Pure BW fans just don't care to waste their time here and hurt people. It's an infection within the SC2 community itself. The responsibility falls on the abundance of fans the still remain the SC2 world to start being louder than the vocal minority. I left SC2 forums for a while because the SC2 community stopped having pride and being supportive. Instead posters have allowed the vocal minority to walk over them. Instead of replying to the SC2 dieing preachers take an effort to discuss games in forums. Make jokes with each other. Start rivalry battles in LR thread. Make cheerfuls. For fuck sakes scream as loud as you can at every game about how amazing it was. Then the bug will come back. The one that made everyone want to be a part of Starcraft 2. The one that took the world by storm. Stop blaming people and get your shit together SC2 community. Completely agree with the vocal minority part. In recent LR thread, half of the posts are coming from like 5 people.

If you didn't , just say the reason why other teams didn't pick him up very clearly since that's not very clear to me as an outsider. Or why you didn't pick him up. That sentence of yours sounds to me like you definitely know more about this than us fans, so I assume you found out the salary ZerO requested, and then you are like fuck it, you are not worth it. This is why "the fans" shouldn't speculate on things they don't know, it leads them to these kind of crazy conclusions. Nobody picked him up because we knew he was retiring. It's shocking that I have to spell that out considering my original post in the thread. This is also in reference to the previous thread on the subject where some people questioned why we picked up Mekia and not ZerO and also about how stupid teams were for not grabbing such a great player. The reality was, those teams are not stupid, they know far more than the fans do and they all knew ZerO was retiring. We did not want to discuss it because announcing a players retirement before he is ready to is super-BM and highly disrespectful.

In SCII though, SK Was considered superior although that ZvP against Trap in PL finals was one crazy game and ZerO almost won it. Best of luck to ZerO! I'm sure he'll do well and hope to hear he joins SRT/SSL ![]()

Now that's a clear explanation, rather than salary, it's just he's retiring. I don't think this is 100% clear for every fan. And I still don't think it's completely that black and white, if he was for certain to retire, he won't be in free agent draft in KeSPA. Given a huge offer and perfect environment, he can definitely consider to continue, it's just nobody will offer him one.

The one that took the world by storm. Stop blaming people and get your shit together SC2 community. You can clearly see that in LRs from "patchzerg" era in WoL (people need to look them up). in 2010 or 2011 (proud years of SC2) such posting was granted with quick death, but during second half of WoL it became (sometimes) a norm. Yet still when someone mentioned BW he became ostracized. It's some of sort of human self-defense mechanism that works sometimes in a very peculiar way. Like shitting in your own nest (your own mind, low self esteem) but opposing anyone who dares to do that from outside. Im not defending people who came up to stir drama with BW Chant im just saying it is hypocritical, just as we - humans can be. Same way as SC2 vs LoL which always annoys me a little, because the word skill or game being so hard is being overused so much in favor of SC2 but it is as well used against BW in comparison. There is really nothing more hypocritical than SC2 fan calling out LoL for being noob friendly and than ranting on BW guy on LR for being elitist. My small hypothesis on why SC2 was healthier in 2010 and 2011 here, besides the novelty gameplay factor was simply the fact BW had it's pro scene. The so called "bad guys" were happy back then, heck some of them even liked to watch both games. Pretty incredible right? When everyone can choose what they want to do, they are indeed happier. I too was cought into Kespa switch hype for a while, but something cracked inside of me when i understood it's truly a lie(fortunately it happened pretty quickly). Now i don't really care that much about both Sospa and SC2. I kinda moved on as well but I can't help to throw some tips because i see more evil being done from inside rather from only a fraction of BW fans who are still alive here. I really want to emphasize what BisuDagger said, the strong community would never fall under the rule of few. I remember being in a CS community and even if i don't remember much Quake people coming up and saying no-skill game (because it wasn't DUH!), and even if they did they would never ever accomplish anything. They would accomplish something only when the community itself would believe that.
