Did that guy seriously just try to shit on JangBi? Brought nothing to the scene? What in the blue hell is he talking about. ZerO was also a big role player for Stars having a pretty good PL season man, even when he was throwing games and I'd say the KeSPA players did their fair share in the OSL and GSL respectfully. They were flooding the bloody place.

Can someone less lazy than me compile a list of all the retired pros? This is seriously demotivating.

Sad to see Zero retire; I remember Zero cruising past Jaedong in the last MSL; crushing his last hopes for the golden badge, then getting wrecked by Flash 3-0 I hope I see him again playing BW

They know a bit more, but not to full context, their statements are certainly based on personal judgement. And also Nazgul has credibility, TB lacks it.

Hopefully he starts playing BW again, soon enough we will have tons of good players and tournaments should be very exciting again

I hope he got to see all those zero pictures we drew a few years ago.

Yes, but it is also pretty obvious why people are doing this. Besides the obvious trolls - some people post these things, because they do care. I do care and though I also never write SC2 is dying, I am not blind. The problem is the past and also the present. Past - BW - is obvious. Everyone knows what BW scene looked like and everyone also knows the SC2 scene doesn't look like that. It is saddening. And the present? When people see what LoL is like in Korea, when I saw the broadcast of OGN the Champions for a first time - i was just hurt. It hurts seeing OGN stadium full with people screaming - just few days after the same stadium was more or less empty during Proleague broadcast.
Another thing also is, that even though we are fans of SC2, we do see that the game is not the best. Or rather, that it could be much better. It would probably take much, but there certainly are ways to make it better. That's why people are constantly posting these threads about 'WCS redesing' and 'redesign of protoss' and 'stronger mech' and 'redesigning economy'. Not because they want to troll and just say SC2 is dying. Quite the opposite actually (for the most part) - it's because they do CARE a lot and they want for a good game to become even BETTER. They want Blizzard (because quite frankly, nobody else can) do SOMETHING to make the full stadiums for RTS a possibility again - like it was during BW.

Actually thats extremely uninteresting. Obviously no one knows the entire reasoning for zeros retirement except for zero himself. This is beyond obvious.
But people that don't even have a clue who zero is are the ones that were talking, and people that DO know their shit came and corrected them. They don't know the full context, does this matter what so ever at all? No. Is it interesting to think about? Not even the tiniest bit.
I'm honestly quite confused at your completely random statement.
