As retarded as Simon's response was, it was clearly a case of two people communicating really badly on a few occasions. As soon as issues arise in a situation like this use emails, team forums or voice-chat to communicate. Not one-word-line malformed sentences on IM.

I do feel for you though when you trust an experienced manager to take care of you and they lie to you about forms and then turn on you like this, Simon really acted like a spoilt little kid rather than a team owner. Hope this shit gets worked out

I thought Quantic was a well established team, its sad to see this kind of behaviour from management. I never really supported them in the first place, but now have no reason to. In any case, thanks for shining the spotlight on how you were treated its helpful to show how teams can operate, hopefully you can live peacefully on a new team!

This is such a shame that this happened at all and then that quantic still has not even made an official apology on the post.

I can not imaging having ethics low enough to put 'thanks for sending as gift' and 'good luck getting your money back'. This is beyond bad management and onto just stealing.

I assume they will give him his money back, but it does not look like they were going to without it going public. Simon needs to step down or be fired for stealing from his own players.

Massan, glad you came forward with this information. The community, quantic players, quantic sponsors, etc. need to know what is happening when someone does something like this.

I just really think it's great that even though mistakes were made, even after the accuser inform that the whole situation is being handled positively, everyone is still losing their shit over this. Personally I think Quantic is still a stand-up organization. Obviously there will be some major flaws time and again, but jeez...to hoist someone like they are the savior of the scene for going public with a problem that could have been handled in a better fashion is a little much.
