Oh come on now, a lot of people do that. Remember STLife standing on the MLG stage after winning and asking for a Zerg buff? "Starcraft 2 was designed to have a best race. You play the worst one." - Day9

I mean, theres still WCS KR, but so many top players are abroad now for the better opportunities, that no matter who wins WCS KR, the winner will still be compared to some other top Korean who didn't compete in KR that season. Innovation held that title when he was destroying everyone, but now it's not so clear anymore when TaeJa blows up the scene everywhere else including innovation himself lol. Well, this was a really good interview. He's usually reserved otherwise. Isn't this what season finals is for?

Well it would be if all the regions were same skilled but they aint. As result you got people that could have done better in Europe/America kicked out of WCS Korea simply because the competition was harder there. While the intend was good all the WCS did was making OSL/GSL less prestegious imo.

While the intend was good all the WCS did was making OSL/GSL less prestegious imo. It also allowed for more high quality consistent content with WCS KR and WCS AM. Hell AM had half of the ro4 in the last season finals. WCS KR is slightly weaker mainly because foreign team members left it but most of the heavy hitters aside from really taeja and polt are still there. (those were literally the only players that were in Code S that left and the only that consistently were in code S)

You can make a case for several players on any given Sunday and then they start under performing. A lot of players are aware of this so they take what they can get.
