In either case, LG won't be hurt by this while IM may have a significant problem. I really hope Legacy of the Void will revive everything, but as of now the future is pretty dark and gloomy.

I don't have much to add, but I hope (very vain hope) that by keeping this thread afloat, this would somewhat make sponsors think twice. And to think that I (partly) bought a Nexus 4 because it was an LG product...

Seriously, at this moment in time, can you think of any other team in the world that deserves this sponsorship more than IM? Guys, do you remember how LG started supporting IM back in February of 2012? Then immediately afterwards, Mvp won GSL? Then straight after that, Seed won GSL? Then IM won IPL TAC 3? First took second at MLG Summer. YongHwa took second at HSC, then won WCG KR. IM placed second in IPTL... twice. First won IEM, then Mvp won IEM. Mvp placed second in GSL... making it his 6th finals! IM won the preliminary GSTL. HotS came out and IM took 1st-4th at IEM (YoDa, First, YongHwa, Mvp). Mvp won WCS EU. IM just won GSTL again! How can you argue with results like those? while I admit those are good results, I rofl'd once I saw you're a fan of IM ![]()

My Speculation is that Kespa and IM is pressuring LG to sponsor IM full on Kespa style so they can integrate IM into Proleague. Every Kespa team is sponsored by somone big named (team 8 counts!) and with the departure of EG-TL they need a team that has a sponsorship big enough for kespa style. LG probably was happy with sponsoring IM while it was at esF but Kespa demands a lot more from sponsors. That's probably why LG is pulling out and IM-Kespa is going all in.
