Why is it going from bo3 to bo1 for the finals? Seems like moving in the wrong direction.

ZerO <Newkirk Redevelopment Precinct> Trap
Flying <Neo Planet S> Classic
Light <Naro Station> Innovation

(Ok, I guess Soulkey will go to ace and then lose to Inno, but this would be more awesome :p)

Also, I can see ZerO easily winning vs Trap, cause he is actually REALLY good, but Trap has a VERY scary PvZ (even hotugh I think he is not very good player besides that PvZ..)

Does the format allow for the ace player to be someone who hasn't played in the previous 6 games? I remember the format for one of the previous seasons or rounds didn't allow that.

Because of the hype. The grand finals are exactly what it is - the grand finals. One match with everything on the line. You either win, or you fail. It creates more tension and the players have more to play for and more pressure on them. They know why they do it for 10 years already :p

That's what I was thinking but no, BrAvO is not good enough I think. But at least sOs because INnoVation v Z is too strong.

I think Light being Ace would be really cool. I can actually see it happening. Their best shot at beating Innovation in an Ace match is simply sniping him with a strong TvT build. Innovation will need to dedicate most his practice vs Z since Soulkey is too good. Basically sending out Light in ace would allow both him and Soulkey to practice one map one matchup.

Should be good. Not really rooting for either team, so just hoping for good games - which there should be plenty of in a Proleague final.

Well it happened in regular season, I guess it can also happen in playoffs. If they didn't change some rules for playoffs, but I don't think there is any reason to.

maybe this is the reason why bogus lost his ro4 match. PL is more important to them
