not having group of death is boring in the short term, but it's almost always a better thing going forward, makes better semi and finals matchups possible

Not that I know of, but they said on air they will take a three week break because this weekend is Dreamhack, next weekend is IEM, and the weekend after is ASUS ROG.
I think NaNiwa will take the game vs Tefel atleast even if that challenger drama happened. He won't underestimate and play like a downie twice against the same player.
Mvp and Grubby out of Group A. Stephano and Welmu out of group B since Welmu could take Finale. MMA and Nani for Group c. MC and Vortix out for Group D.

5th, 6th, 7th and 8th August.
I like those groups. No group of death for me. I won't be able to watch it unfortunately, Roma holidays yo. The favorites should go through, which means a sick playoff weekend.
Way to blow a tiny mistake out of proportion. Even professional entities make mistakes, just get over it.
I think this guy was just trying to help, chill bro. If you want to whine then say his inserted Protoss icon isn't aligned with the others perfectly (slightly more to the right than it should be), or that he used the preview image instead of the high res one ^_^
Grubby got a nice draw, I think he'll make it to Ro8.
MVP you are jinxed... in a good heavenly way. And Grubby... Its doable. Past group was worst for him I think Stephano and Lucifron. Should be fun if they get to play each other Naniwa and... Someone else. MMA trends to play below expectations. Happy over expectations. Tefel is solid. So... yeah. I'll go with MMA. Cuz KOR TERRAN you know Vortix and... well, we've got 3 good PvPers, so... MaNa. Cuz he is or has something most of players dont: Clutch

I assume the ro16 will happen from the 5th to the 8th or the 6th to the 9th of August then.
This also gives time for WCS AM to catch up since they're so behind.

I found his first post funny, his seconde "I don't get pay for this but I'd do a better job then the OP" is just... not helping at all ;-) Sure he is right, but the mistake is minor and will be fixed in later (previews, live repots etc) threads anyways, as well as in Liquipedia etc. so there is no need for too harsh words

do these guys never learn?
Why would he need to learn ? To me he can only win by wanting to face MVP. Only 2 things happen.
1. He loses to MVP. Let's be honest no one would be suprised with what MVP can do, nothing to lose here. 2. He beats MVP. Giving him a huge boost and makes people remember who Ret was again.

Or
3. Instead plays against an easier opponent and makes it further into the tournament, gaining more money and WCS points.

Or he still can move on as second place and do all that ^^ + not even needing to worry about MVP until the finals (if both would make it that far)

I missed he was also the guy who made the first post purely about that icon, sarcastically saying 'good job ESL', so I guess your first line was justified after all. I thought he was a random guy who just read the whining about the Terran icon and decided to provide a fixed image :-) My bad~
Finale will 2-0 Stephano with all ins and everybody will lose their shit. Then he'll show that he knows how to macro as well cause he's pretty good at this game.
RO16 will all be be played in Germany right ? So Koreans will probably not all-in as much without the latency handicap and you can expect them to play a bit better than in RO32. Still hoping for a couple to get eliminated in RO16 !

Grubby's PvP is good though. I'd rate them even.
but honestly... in challenger league hasuobs took down Mvp.Finale 2:0... which is really not an easy task.
is pvp is top notch... Grubby has imho a better pvz as hasu, but Ret is not in his best of shapes... so I clearly go for hasu as 2nd place.
German + Mouz flare
actually I am american... I just live in germany and work here... but yes I have contact with hasu via FB and I love is playstyle. He is actually a toss that can macro and doesn't cheese too often... he has just a very, very solid playstyle.
Don't care about manners, last results and revenges, just sick games coming ... I've already replaced football + beer with Mojito + WCS Europe this summer. Love it !
