I mostly use name Enpo. It came from few girls in 5th grade. They had some kind of "gossipclub" and gave nicknames to some boys. I got name Enpotso, but decided to make it a bit shorther so I became Enpo, and it has stuck with me.
In AM, server I use name DocMartin, because I love that TV- show
KR I use name Amantur. That is Latin, means: You are being loved. Had to make name and we just had passive in latin lesson, and I liked that word.

I always liked the name "virpi". It's actually a finnish girls' name, but I just love the look and sound of the name.

I was playing Age of Empires II with some friends. I was using the Chinese, so my ID was Chairman Ray as a parody of Chairman Mao. I guess it just stuck after that.

When I was young, I would come up with a few different nicknames for AIM screen names. My BW and Diablo names were DarkPlasmaBall, although I had to create PlasmaMango for SC2 (lower character limit x.x)

Basically I needed an original name back when Counter Strike just came out.
I searched unused names and found some ridiculous random ones, one of them was Joz..
So I put E at the start and L in the end of it, because my real name is Eric Lassen.
Back then the idea was to have it say EjozL and then because there's 2 big letters you could 2 * 5(numbers of letters in name)
and it would be 10, the month of October and the 2 big letters is the day number 2 and my birthday is 2. October.
Back then I thought it was really cool and guys from my class wanted me to make up ID's for them.
But now it's rather lame I think, but since I still wanna stick to the name i just type it ejozl.

My aka is DeathFinger. I use Finger in almost every game I play (it's an old surname of mine, because I'm tall and thin), then I add a prefix depending on the mood.
(Semi OT: Malehonnete was my CS 1.6 aka because of a pun. Basically, "Mâle" was my team name, and Malhonnête means dishonest in French, while a "mâle honnête" (an honest male) means the opposite. Quite a few pun we made :D)

When I was around 12/13 we got our first internetconnection, at that time I was a pretty big Lordi fan. So I choose "BloodRedSandman" as my name almost everywhere, ICQ, Forums, Email.... Later I changed it to "TheBRS".

I've had my nick for somewhere between eight and ten years now.

Was playing Quake 3 with a friend and my connection was acting up, which in Quake is represented by an image of an unplugged network cable over your avatars head. My friend simply said "You have one of those lag icons above you" (In swedish) and I changed my name accordingly (In Quake you just typ '/name whatever_name_you_want' to change name).
It just kinda stuck and I never changed it back after that.

Back a couple of years ago when I was smoking alot of weed I called myseld behindTheMoon whenever I was playing while I was high. I stole it from my crush at the time, who was using it on some social media site, because it looked pretty and me and my friends sometimes called drugs 'rocket fuel' and taking them 'going to space'. (Yes, I do know that this is really lame...)

I just chose a nickname a looooong time ago, namely Kaluro.
I use that nickname everywhere and anywhere, it's my (non literal) trademark.

It's a made up nickname os the odds of someone walking around with it, is close to 0%. Therefore people will always recognise me in games.
