I'd love to see Barbie play in WCS-AM, she is Korean after all, she practices 12 hrs a day, Creator is showing her how to play. If Tilea, a female kiwi random (race!) can hang there I have to wonder if Barbie might be able to as well...

if as a male you feel pandered by seeing a fully dressed girl in a gaming booth hmmm....you have some interesting fetishes
Pandering is an affect, not an effect.
You pander to someone, whether that someone feels pandered is irrelevant. It is possible to "fail" to pander to someone.
For example, I might try to pander to vegetarians--by offering raw steak. They would be disgusted, but that doesn't mean I didn't try pandering to them.
A "male" not *feeling* pandered does not mean he wasn't pandered.
Damn. You caught me right there. And I am supposed to take the GREs and Sat subject tests soon......

Should have been banned for this post. Scarlett is a member of our community, and has probably done more for it than this guy ever will.
I don't think TL can ban someone for stating some truth in a very touchy subject.

I do not understand why eScraper-tsunami was "warned" for his post. Did he do anything wrong?
Maybe I'm a little behind on my political correctness, but as I understand it the most accurate description for Scarlett is not "girl" or "boy" but rather "transgender". Have we sunk so deep in the mire of political correctness that differentiating between transgenders and girls is now considered a ban-able offense?
If eScraper-tsunami got "warned" for bringing up such a touchy subject, I would understand. But then why wasn't the same warning issued the the original instigator? Race_is_Terran is the one who baited people with his sarcastic *cough*Scarlett*cough* remark. He's the one who brought up the touchy subject in the first place. Everyone else was just responding to him.

Ya, I don't think we should de-rail this thread too far from what actually matters, which is Barbie. And as to my warning, I already sorted it out with admin and it's fine .

As a general rule you want to take questions like this to the Website Feedback area. Trying to talk about it in this forum will likely get you warned or banned, though I agree with you.
On subject though, I would really like to see Barbie play. Even if she doesn't stomp nerds like Innovation or Parting it would still be really cool to see her playing.

Prime's already been eliminated from GSTL, might as well send someone other than Creator/Maru/MKP/Byun at this point and get them some in-booth experience.

I don't get what you mean. girls need to be given a chance to play, because they're girls ? respect is earned , not given? you don't see a contradiction with what you said

Stop hate-mongering.
I wonder when someone born a woman will be sent out as a legitimate pick.
Scarlett is amazing, I saw her playing at NASL and it was great. She is also one of the best foreigners there is. But it really just isn't the same. Having female players on teams just because they are female is an embarassment to the community and to the gender.

Nice interview I haven't got the chance to talk to her yet but I hope I can once my Korean improves Maybe will prime will even give her a match in booth on their final match since they are already eliminated for sure ><
So many nerds will dream of Asian women with their traditional values, cooking for you and playing games with you. Jaedong´s girl is just the beginning.

Pretty sure she's Chinese (If you referring to Irena Liu (from Proleague with yellow shirt))

Yeah she is, should´ve said Asian women, like the advertisements.
