"Madeleine "MaddeLisk" Leander, a Swedish SC2 gamer and PhD-student in mathematics at Stockholm University invites the famous commentator Shaun "Apollo" Clark to Share a Coke. The video is part of our Share a Coke campaign in Sweden where we are replacing the logo on our bottles with 150 of Sweden's favorite names, so you can Share a Coke with your friends, family and loved ones. Who do you want to Share a Coke with? #shareacoke #delaencoke"
Translation:
"I thought I would speak a bit of swedish now since you've moved to Sweden, and I understand that you would move just to Sweden considering us swedish players always beat you on the ladder all the time. So there's much to learn here. Nah, that was a bit of BM, it's not like you're a noob. Besides you are a fantastic commentator, somewhat of a rolemodel. But perhaps you should lookover about your clothing, but I do actually like pink jumpsuits. As a welcoming gift, I've customly ordered this for you. So maybe you'd like to share a coke with me, GL HF."
Coke currently has a campaign going in Sweden where they have the most popular names printed on all the 0.5l bottles.
Translation from youtube comments:
I'm going to talk a bit of Swedish now since you have moved to Sweden. And I can really understand why you chose to move to Sweden, since we keep beating you on the ladder all the time. So, there's a lot to learn here. Nah, that was a bit BM - it's not like you're a noob or anything. Besides, you are an excellent commentator - somewhat of a role model actually - but perhaps you need to work on your clothing style a bit (well, I also like pink one-pieces but...). Anyhow! As a delayed welcoming present I've had this custom made for you, so I thought you might want to share a coke with me? GLHF!

Very uninteresting to me as well. Quite obvious what Coca Cola is doing: Many SC2 players drink a lot of Coca Cola, and many of those gamers are in Sweden.
I am not a big fan of drinking [super chemical bio-hazardous waste slime - as far from a natural product of nature as possible] however.
In Poland name-cokes have been present for at least a month, I guess they are slowly trying to push it all over Europe. Here it didn't catch on that well. But hey it's Sweden, for them esports it's a normal thing, so I'm not surprised that global brand is using it to advertise.
It's their new campaign "Share a coke". All the coke bottles have common swedish first names on them now. This is a Coca Cola commercial, with Maddelisk wanting to "share a coke" with apollo.

Boohoo, sugar is so unnatural and dangerous.
I think it's cool that SC2 and Maddelisk/Apollo is getting the attention, shows how far esports has come in Sweden to have a commercial like this.
What the fuck? So it's a Coke commercial starring her and talking like Apollo or there's a new Coke product out there that share's the same name as Apollo? I'm confused.

Coke got bottles here in Sweden now where it says "Share a coke with "insert name here"". And now one with Apollo. And Maddelisk is asking him if he wants to share it with her...

I'm used to it. I'm very curious to know who which ad agency Coke used to put this one together because there seems to be a lot of moving parts in it & I'm used to seeing well marked spots from Coke. When I got my first break in Television and Film it was through the ad agencies, so I'm a little mystified by the approach of this ad. I don't speak the language either so I don't really know what's going on it other than the Apollo impersonation. It's just really bizarre.

Oh, okay then. That's what I thought when I saw the other comments. I still find it very odd for a Coke advertisement.
God damn Swedish girl! They are so friendly and cute! It's so hard not to get lured into their grasp ^_^
Especially comparead to some Danish girls and their "What do you mean I have to try?" approach -_-;;
Can't believe she got a commercial as well! Very good job and well deserved! I played beat her one time on ladder and she was such a nice and friendly person on her stream to watch after =)
On June 14 2013 21:37 C[h]ili wrote: Ah, so the girl is a progamer? Is she good?
Might sound harsh, but yes... for a girl. According to liquipedia she hasn't really impressed outside of female-only tournaments (though she did win University Star League which is a sc2 event in stockholm, minor tournament though).

They're both casting at Dreamhack (she casts the Swedish Championships in Swedish), and she says Apollo is a casting role model for her. It's called humor.

I can't think of any stronger female pro SC2 players so yeah, shes good
aphrodite, eve, barbie
;p
scarlet, aphrodite, flo I would say is clearly better than her. Then you have quite a few girls that are high master around maddelisk's level. I'm not sure that eve and barbie even play the game atm.

This is essentially a CocaCola ad. The fact that they're using Maddelisk in that ad is extremely interesting to me at least. I'm sure a good portion of it is due to her being attractive, but regardless of that fact they're putting a video game player (Maddelisk if you see this, I'm not sure if you'd consider yourself a pro or not, you clearly have considerably more going on outside of the game) who would (as far as I know, again I'm not entirely sure) only be known within the country for video games in any sort of ad is a twist from the norm. Mind you I'm American, and we don't really use pro video game players in advertising all that often. I think we had some dudes on dr pepper bottles at one point, but I don't think there were advertisements other than that.

I'm pretty sure I could beat Eve, and I don't remember seeing Barbie play. I also think Maddelisk could put up a fight against Aphrodite and Scarlett, but as far as I know neither of them are getting a phd. She's definitely one of the top well-known female players

Scarlett? SCARLETT? No. MaddeLisk is high master on EU server...

If I remember correctly, Swedish national television actually casted some StarCraft a while ago. Also, I know that Maddelisk has done some casting, so it may be possible that she's actually been on national TV as a caster. In which case, she's not totally unknown to the TV audience. There are lots of ifs in this sentence, perhaps a Swede could clear things up.

Cool nonetheless.
They did and will do it again this summer (correct me if I am wrong on this) but it was only for a few hours of their regular broadcast.

Yeah, they are available in Germany since last week, too.
Been in Australia for over a year now.
The Australian one's are personal names, I believe these are personality's names/ID's...
Or so I would guess, given that Apollo isn't actually a name.
It's only common forenames and a few "titles" such as "boyfriend", "girlfriend" and "family". The one in the commercial was some kind of specially made bottle
