Yeah, seemed like it was a bit small of a caster crew with only two otherwise.
Probably not gonna go in person unless Naniwa is on the finals day.

Lots of koreans again.. a nice change from the previous year of DH where it was very few koreans. I like this mix of strong EU players and koreans.. makes for gg's
i agree with Geoff. really looking forward to this. such a STACKED tournament...
GOGO PiG! hopefully he can turn some heads! :D

congrats to Nathanias! like others have said, huge step for him!

I kinda wish they had more casters, I don't look forward to listening to nathanias but at least he's getting a shot to prove himself on main stage I guess. Sick line up of players though.

Dayum, the line-up sure is ferocious. So many top-list Koreans as well.

|
A very diverse line up, awesome to see PiG is making the long journey to compete. Looking forward to it!

Nice players list, missing some big European names tho like Grubby, Nerchio, Kas, Bling, Vortix, Strelok, Dimaga, Happy, Beastyqt, Hasu etc etc
Shame but still should be a good tournament to watch and, oh my that schedule....

Geoff's marketing works again. It's around the same Koreans like any other DH tournament and swamped with our Euro boys. Not only that but guys like Polt won't be going and the rest of the Koreans are pretty mediocre in caliber. I think a lot of the European players are bigger threats than most of these guys and guess what? This is the norm when it comes to Dreamhack tournaments. It's the usual suspects.

This DH is going to be sick! Can't wait

I think you are wrong, there are a ton of very good koreans. Ok most of them are underperforming at the moment which doesn't change the fact that they still can pretty much outplay almost any foreign player. Plus there are a lot of those players that have been absent from the scene ever since HOTS release because of one/two series lost, so in two months they might be way better than they appear to be (DRG, Supernova, Sting ...)
But then again, you're saying that Violet, Squirtle or Symbol are mediocre ...

There are 15 Koreans. That number is not unusual for a DH. Almost all of them are on Western teams with a handful from ESF teams. You said it yourself a lot of them are underperforming. Jaedong did just beat PartinG in PL on the biggest map of them all, but I can still write him off because he's still very weak against Euro-style Protoss and there are several very good European Protoss players in this tournament. I already went down the list of all the players. As for DRG, Supernova and Sting. DRG is still slumping. Supernova I cannot comment on because I haven't seen him recently. I'd like to put him in the same breath as GuMiho but even his play as been lackluster. Symbol might be Korea's best shot. As for the rest, nah.

No Grubby?`I am disappointed.

Yay Pandatank! Hoping he is able to have a big breakout performance.
Sad that I won't be able to watch any of the tourney. Looks like an absolutely fantastic lineup of talent.
