I still think Blazer-T-Shirt is the worst I've ever seen.
For relaxed fashion (no suit): The Cop-Look is your best bet:
Grab a nice blazer, put on some nice jeans, get a nice dress shirt. Tuck the shirt in, wear a black or brown leather belt, put on some Doc-Martens: good to go. Tie is optional, but I prefer leaving it at home. If you're gonna wear a tie, just wear a damn suit with it.
For super relaxed fashion: Average Joe
Nice dress shirt, pair of shorts or jeans, pair of sneakers (maybe some flip-flops if you can pull it off).
T-shirts are almost always a no-go, but if you are going to wear one: DO NOT WEAR A BLAZER! DO NOT! You look like a high-school kid who just got home from the thrift store when you do that. It's bad enough to make me want to puke.
edit: Suits are always the best bet, but make sure they fit correctly and don't clash. Fashion for men hasn't changed in years for a reason: what works, works. And it works well. Suits will always be the formal dress for men and will always be the right choice for a semi-formal or formal occasion. Being in a public, professional event as a professional is a formal event.
edit 2: LOL @ khaldor in the sweater. He's all buff too so it looks especially ridiculous! I would have died if I had to appear on camera with that thing.

Its part of the whole package and while I could care less if TBs tie is too short, a non-esports person could look at it and think its silly and not pay attention to the cast because gamers dont know how to dress. Personally TOD looks the coolest here. Everyone should look like James Bond when they cast
BASIC FASION ADVICE if youre going to suit up, suit up right. Jackets and shirts fitted 7 ways to tell if your suit fits, shirt ironed, matching color schemes, match belt color with shoe color and of course... The tie... Double Windsor that doesn't have too big of a knot and that is the proper length (tip on the belt buckle). My qualifications: I learned all this from etiquette class as a kid lmao

Thread is a nice excuse for people to bitch about how others are dressed while in their boxers. Intended as funny, will end up being a shithole as always because community can't just laugh along and has to take it seriously.
There is nothing to me which strikes me as "mad" from TB's post. The thread is intended to be funny and it is. He predicted the future. Nearly 20 people had to quote TB and take his post too seriously. A dozen nerds talking shit to TB which they would never say to his face. Have some respect!
Best thread of 2013. Laughed from page 1 till the end
Well considering you're the only person to post that viewpoint, and there are 'nearly 20 people' viewing it another way, chances are your interpretation is incorrect, don't you think?
Also, in case you weren't aware, this site has a pretty decent sized 'older' membership base who wouldn't actually have a problem telling TB to his face that his comments in this thread were (insert various descriptions here). There's nothing disrespectful about having a chuckle at his overly short tie, which is the only thing that people were doing and would have done until his overly sensitive comment. He put a target on his own back.
On the Mr.Bitter best dressed casters - it says "Should go out shopping with Rotterdam" but this should be re-phrased "Should bring Rotterdam along when he goes shopping" etc, otherwise it sounds like rotterdam is the one with the best clothing
Y'all are too myopic, add fighting game commentators to this list and all the other games' people get blown up imo. I like me and Magus1234 over anyone!
Edit: And about the short ties, that's very common for sports commentators. The normal tie length is designed to look good when you're standing up, but when you're sitting down and people can only see a camera view of you, that length can look like it's too long and kinda weird. A shorter tie designed for the commentary booth fixes that problem... but then it looks weird when you're standing up. It's just that a caster like TB is gonna spend most of his time sitting down with a camera on him, so his priority is to look good in that view.

You like Magus1234 over UltraDavid AND Dacidbro?
Magus is definitely #1 imo and I'd have myself at second. Dacidbro is top 5 too. And I actually really like Skisonic's look, although I know that's a little more controversial heh.
