Maybe they wouldn't want to stream a certain amount of time a week, or they had absolutely no interest to ever go to Korea to play in Proleague. Maybe they wanted to stay with an European team. I would guess (based on tournament winnings) that neither Lucifron nor Vortix are poor, so money would most definitely not be the only factor for them when switching a team. That's complete bullshit. They had their brother as manager. Why would you want to leave the best playing condition possible if not for money ?! Besides it's not like EG is demanding with their contracts. Stephano did the stuff he wanted all the time without any problem. And it's not as if mouz was any successful right now. MaNa is carrying them in team league and they stand at 3-5 in the ATC while K3 is 5-2 (thanks to the brothers and Socke). They had no players in the top 8 of the WCS. Thus this transfer is fishy. Something doesn't make sense here and if we consider what K3's owner tweeted, there is room for questioning.

Combined that with the fact that Stephano is retiring and EG would have the money to divide its former player salary and still outbid mouz by far. There is something fishy in this transfer. mousesports is Germany's top clan but didn't have a top team since their CS 1.6 flagship has gone. I think their other teams (Dota2, LoL?) aren't doing so well. They can't just do nothing, so I guess they started investing. LucifroN and VortiX weren't committed fulltime into SC2 when they were offered a spot in EG, so maybe they didn't feel like going fulltime for EG or EG's offer wasn't as good because of that. They were mostly only known by insiders back then. And don't neglect the positive effects of WCS EU. Suddenly, investing in SC2 is much more interesting for everyone. Such a sick day for the European scene. A new strong team is forming, ASUS ROG and Homestory Cup announced. The future is looking bright!

Not a top 3 team, but on a good day they can beat anyone. + Show Spoiler + And they're raping Liquid at the moment ![]()
