We continue our series of interviews with WCS America Challenger League players, this time looking across the ocean to China. Yesterday we had Jim and Top, today we have MacSed and XY!
*Interviews were performed a while back, so some answers could be dated.

What SC2 unit represents you best, and why? Ghosts (but that's the unit I'm not good at).
Who is your favorite player and why? Flash, my favorite in both BW and SC2
One thing you would change about StarCraft II. Reduce the damage of oracles or reduce their range.
Form a team with any other 5 players, not including those currently on your team. Flash, Life, Rain, INnoVation, sOs.
Who will win Season 1 of AM, EU, KR? INnoVation wins KR, and I believe EU and AM will be won by Korean players as well.

At least he is being realistic. I wouldn't say never, but at least a decade under the most ideal conditions. The foreign scene as a whole can catch up in half the time, but to say a single region can catch up in a year or two is unrealistic. Even with a population and great eSports infrastructure like China, I don't see them ever getting there.
Random question: What's the correct name for the CD thingy? We in Germany called it "Discman", but I'm not sure that this is the real english name (just like the germans say "handy" for mobile phone)...

Floppy discs, walkmen and VHS tapes are not that old c'mon...
I'm almost 25 and I used all of them during my childhood, taping DBZ episodes because they would air on TV during class time. The first thing I would do when I got back home was to eagerly rewind the tape and hope I had programmed the VHS correctly!

it's hard to judge what's the standard for "the best in the world" though. Jim is currently one of the top Kr ladder players. I think another chinese player is around rank 20 Kr GM. with such strong players leading the competition, I won't be surprised to see China catchup if the game was more popular. not to mention how ridiculously fast China is improving when it comes to olympics, they are starting to get gold in swimming where it is normally dominated by the western countries like Australia.

not enough Zergs :/
Well, there is actually some good Zerg in China. The Better of them are Xigua, Comm and Toodming. And ZooCourage made it quite far in the NA qualifier. Not to forget the most popular guy in the Chinese SC2 scene, F91.

Yeah people are missing key words in that question... Olympic sport. If its in the Olympics, China would spare no expense to make sure they're the best, especially if it just entails making kids to play a game 10 hours a day.
MacSed got it right. If it was in the Olympics, China would make sure their players trained their butts off.

Same, although I have heard "discman" as well.
You are correct. Walkmans play cassettes. Discmans play CDs.
