Another beautiful American hero putting his hand into the ring, a Terran who has ventured where no Terran has gone before, the late...late game. Not to be constricted to a single style or strategy though, AVILO, like the bald eagle, will not hesitate to let things fly. Whether it be proxy buildings, nuclear and/or seeker missiles, you can count on Avilo to have another trick up his headband.
Unfortunately Avilo did not realize until after he scheduled the match with the match sponsor(who is providing the prize pool of the match) that he was previously committed to attending the DC LAN. I know of them and have played them but why are you calling it a grudgematch other than the fact that Bonk is Protoss. Always seemed like a manner guy to me. Set the stage with background info

It's a grudematch because both are mid-high NA GMs who meet on the ladder occasionally, nothing but friendly competition between them so far as I know. Until Saturday.
And as every high master-GM knows, players start to have histories together after hitting each other on the ladder several times(especially when they both stream), and this will be their opportunity to fight it out for both bragging rights, and cold electronic cash to back it up.

edit: This is happening at noon or midnight on Saturday? there's a DC LAN going on June 1st, I want to make sure I don't conflict with this and avilo can still make the LAN...hopefully he can play these matches from the LAN center or something if it's at noon.

I beat you on ladder in a PvP today (yes ladies and gentleman, that's right, a Protoss vs Protoss), you tried to proxy two gate me, i held it off easily and then killed you with DTS and BM'd you for being bad!

Reported the OP for its crude female joke but it's still there. Really disappointed TL would let that stand. This is why gaming communities have such a reputation for being hostile to females. I guess you've never been to a pub.

Major Update: Avilo recently realized he would be unable to attend as he had already committed to attending a LAN at the same time he scheduled the match, and has been replaced with Infinity Seven's Binski.
If admins/mods could change the title/TL calendar to reflect this I would be grateful.

We did not move the event due to all other party's involved not being able to move the day to Sunday due to commitments of their own.

I would have been more than willing to adjust the LAN schedule or have his matches start later to give him time to play this from the LAN center.

Also, to clarify, I will be raffling off a free(to US & Canada) Winter Gaming T-Shirt to those in the chat sometime during the series(probably between games 3 and 5). All you have to do to have a chance at the shirt is be logged into twitch and in chat at the time of the raffle

Avilo was terribly disappointed as well when he realized that he had a previous commitment. I think he was prepared to play this tournament from the LAN, which probably would have been a bad idea. Hopefully, Winter will be able to reschedule a showmatch with Avilo at another time.
