Honestly this might be a good thing for IdrA, now he will be able to refocus his life and decide if he wants to continue being a progamer. If he does, this could be the source of motivation that he has really needed. If he doesn't, he can move on with his life.

Thank you for releasing him. He was an embarrassment, both his performance and his attitude, for over a year now. He hurt your brand and didn't even provide anything to the team (in fact, he seemed to create problems for the team social structure as a whole).

And there's also the matter that he basically threw his matches in WCS.

I know it sucks to part with someone you've worked with but for the SC2 scene as a whole, I think it's the right choice.

I was just thinking that EG might do this because of the way Idra's been acting, and especially after seeing the Reddit thread where he said EG was paying him to act like he does. But then I thought, Idra's such a huge asset that they'll probably warn him first, tell him to stop his bm behavior and if not, THEN fire him.

Did NOT expect him to be let go of so quickly after his recent bad mannerisms. Pretty shocking.
