You must be fairly new here. Idra has been banned countless of times, even before he was with EG.

Wow you just kicked idra off eg for being himself. Hahaha he is one of the most recognizable esports players out there I have buddies that know who he is and they don't even watch starcraft.
This just seems like a dumb move to me and one that was motivated by a non-event anyways.

finally the inevitable happened

Finally. I am so happy. He has been behaving like 11 years old kid that plays cod on console.

I feel bad for Idra. He's clearly got some long-term issues that have been screwing with him, and when you're in the public like this it's basically impossible to fix them even when you try. No matter what you do, you're sort of fucked.
Either way, I feel like down the line he'll probably look back at this and see it as a good thing. Now that he's out of the public eye there's an opportunity for him to actually address what are clearly major problems plaguing his mindset. Hopefully that's how it'll turn out.

I think Idra should become a full time caster
If idra did a day9 where he simply analyses replays and keeps calling everything he sees absolute shit--they will eat that up.

As much as I hate to throw Machine under the bus, how many were brought into the EG tent by Machine being nice as opposed to Idra being an ass? This announcement sounds like IdrA isn't bringing in what he brought in WoL, and the easy scapegoat was his attitude.

It was about time , maybe Greg will find something that makes him happy now instead of his sc persona that he was keeping up lately.

Why Idra fans are trashing EG? Didn't EG make a favor to Idra? They actually let free a guy who spit everywhere how he does not like to be there.

IdrA should stop playing and go into casting; he was one of the best casters I've ever heard. He should replace the caster that is not Rotterdam on WCS AM right now.
|
From an outside view, it looks kind of sudden. I wonder how many behind the scenes warning he might have had before hand. But for sure, Idra has been getting out of hand for the past while.

tbh it was about time - he hasn't won anything, hasn't done anything relevant in so long... if not for insulting other people, being BM and acting like a dick, EG is actually full of nice people (Demuslim, Incontrol, Thorzain etc) - I think Idra is out of place there, he was literally the only reason why I could not stand/support EG - as far as I am concerned it's a great move and I fully support it.

Idra was what made EG so different from every other team. They have lost a ton of appeal imo, just your typical foreign team
|
Thank god, finally a reaction to his.
