Demu looking as good as ever. Suppy is probably the best zerg in the US now and quickly rising. They also have a great Korean squad. EG is far from dead. He was being sarcastic....the emoticon gives it away.

IdrA, regardless of his results in BW and the first year of SC2, has been coasting on that reputation for a long time, while being probably the biggest case of the profit > results mentality that plagues Western eSports. As long as people like him, Destiny et al continue to be valued for their stream viewer numbers and their "personalities" over bringing up promising talent, NA and EU will continue to lag behind KR in terms of development. People like IdrA need to be cut out of eSports. Glad to see the back of him.

Actually as someone who was not mad at what idra said... all I have to say is that no organization in any other sport would have tolerated what he said, especially considering he has had no results lately and left that game when it was winnable the other day. This is not highschool people. It is time to grow up and realize what the real world is like.

He is not worth nearly as much as that alone suggests. A lot of it is hate, and negative publicity is not good publicity for most sponsors and in any case it does not come close to match positive publicity that a guy like demuslim, grubby or suppy could provide a team with. Idra is clearly on a solid downwards spiral, and unless you think he can somehow turn that around it would be foolish to invest heavily in such a short-term exposure. If he keeps barely playing NA GM level, then he soon won't get invited to anything and he already can't qualify through the easiest of qualifiers (like shoutcraft AM). Sponsors will have to deal with people sending them "hate mail" because they support Idra. Idra will continue damage the brand of his sponsors in public. Idra may be a good investment if you can get him at the price of a qxc or kane and you for some reason just want some eyes on your product, but not at "top EG salary".
