I do not think EG should've kicked him from the organization though. IdrA, whether you like him or not, has helped build this community to what it is today. He still has a lot of drawing power as a personality, and he's an interesting commentator. I really enjoyed listening to him at Homestory Cup and in the EG team league tournament. IdrA obviously screwed up horribly with that post yesterday, but he's clearly in a terrible spot mentally. I think EG should've put him on suspension or something similar instead of kicking him, and used that time to get him help and see if he'd be interested in casting or taking on a role similar to Incontrol. Kicking him to the curb when he's down like this seems pretty unfair to IdrA. Even if I dislike him as a player, I certainly feel bad for him as a person. He clearly has his issues and struggles and doesn't deserve this based off of one shitty post on TL.

He's proven wrong every time but his mind seems to not process anything that goes against his core belief, and that is the rut he was in to the very end :-/ DeMuslim is showing a lot of results right now and has a good attitude. He incorporates the viewing in his stream as if youre there with him playing. It's one of the things people who watch the game on streams are looking for....just a little different spectrum than Idra

I think it's highly subjective who you like more. Naniwa is in some way like IdrA, but never had a team like EG behind him which supported him with the money he wanted. But he still tries to give his best and has a winner mentality. IdrA has not. That's a huge difference for me.

However, at the same time, a move like this was overdue for EG, an organization that has cut him an enourmous amount of slack in proportion to other members of their team and community. If I were to say even close to a fraction of the things Idra has said in my workplace, I would have been fired long ago. We may be playing a game, but that doesn't give players who are in the place of a professional to act less than professionally. And Idra has often been the farthest thing possible from professional. A just move, but I hope that Idra takes this as a final wake-up call to fix whatever it is that inspires the sort of blind anger and blaming that I've seen out of him for years.

Don't need someone who honestly doesn't give a shit about anything in the scene other than treating his fans and fellow players like trash. Was a great thing when Destiny stopped playing SC2 and it's going to be a great thing that Idra is gone. Destiny disappearing? What world do you live in? Destiny gets ~3k viewers every day...

They were the best foreigners for their races in 2012 for christ sake. Demu looking as good as ever. Suppy is probably the best zerg in the US now and quickly rising. They also have a great Korean squad. EG is far from dead.

Of course, I imagine nothing will change for Idra, especially as long as he maintains a good number of stream viewers. I imagine he will continue to stream, be as big of a jerk as possible, and become the new Destiny - a streamer who tries to keep himself relevant by becoming increasingly obnoxious and offensive.. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Good Bye Idra. You ended up where you deserved to be all along: all alone and an abject, utter failure of a human being.
