When I first heard the news I seriously thought it would be for performance reasons. In the end it might turn out to be the best thing for his career, maybe it gives him the push to rise again.

How does someone training with the CJ team get tricked by a dumb chinese zerg player who isn't clever and simply hopes? I mean seriously LOL he mind fucked you and you still can't even realize it after the fact. Ignorance isn't bliss. Ignorance will keep you in the CJ team B-house and off TV for another year until you finally realize it's time to pack your bags and get the fuck out.

All I'm asking of you, Idra, is to show some respect. Show some respect to the community, your team, the opponent that just raped you, and most importantly yourself by just frankly admitting to the fact that he outplayed you in the series and raped you straight up. No one is judging you saying F91 >>> you. F91 certainly was >>>> you that day and it was not due to luck. It was because he raped you. No one gives a fuck whos better between you and F91. You both fucking blow as far as anyone is concerned so don't worry about that.

Rekrul said this 3 years ago, and yet you still haven't learned anything.

From reading another linked topic about a Rekrul game battle summary...

"ElkY's Vultures charged into the naked Protoss encampment like sperm into a uterus, penetrating everything in sight..."

Bahaha I wish battle reports were still written like this.

Being hooked into the celebrity marketing arm really helps.

Look at Nani versus Idra 8 months ago. Worlds of difference based on access to the podcasts.

This "stockholm syndrome" joke is neither funny nor well founded.

Idra's recent form has nothing to do with the fact that he has gained fans throughout his career and those continuing to support him are actual fans.

The number of people taking so much delight in this has made me truly ashamed to be a part of this community. It's one thing to dislike a player or condemn their actions, but it's another to go out of your way to shit on someone and anyone that has supported him because he got fired.

Yes, causa Idra really didn't shit on anyone.

If you dislike him for acting like that you have no excuse for acting like that yourself particularly when you yourself are the one condemning such behavior.

Why are you doing the mature routine in a community where the average age is what.. 15-16? If that...

So telling people to let a childish behavior like Idra's slide is the mature thing now? Nobody is burning him alive and nobody is saying anything even remotely as bad as Idra has said to other people (like wishing that they died of cancer because they won games against him).

If you really believe that nobody on here has been a completely insensitive twat towards idra in this thread, then you seriously need to learn to read.

The point is, he had it coming by being the same towards the community.

No actually the orginal point that was being made is this community has been just as toxic towards him as he has been towards them. Yet the community sits on it's high horse and preaches maturity, professionalism and manners.

tbh im glad this happened. he seemed miserable and unhappy (more than usual) on his stream in the last month or so... i'm sure this is good for Greg, not matter what he chooses to do further on. guess you could say... EGIdrA[RC] has left the team!

Hmm. Was there an event that cause this? or was his "disrespect to the community" simply referring to the fact that he was bashing on terran players?

I would like to someone write and produce a movie about IdrA, Nony, and Flo joining forces as North America's (recently) teamless representatives from each race, overcoming insurmountable odds and poor expectations from the community, to strike a mortal blow against the Korean menace. Set in WCS America Season 3 and wrapping up at the Global Finals in Seoul, South Korea. Film title still pending...

I've read a number of posts about how "the community" was negative to Idra.

First of all, the community is an all encompassing term, when its only a small part of the community doing anything negative to Idra.

Secondly, any negative attention he did receive was the result of his constant complaining and denigrating of both his opponents and the viewers.

As has been said numerous times, the man will reap what he sows.

It would be a crazy awesome thing to hear that he emerges from this the better man for it and goes on to renew his passion for SC2 and makes a roaring comeback.

I won't hold by breath.

Did you missunderstand my post? I'm telling the guy it's pointless to convince people in gaming communities to take the high ground since most people in them barely have pubes much less sense.

I don't partake in flamefests like these but when it comes to IdrA (or others like him)... well, you reap what you sow is my personal oppinion.

I apologize but honesty is unbiased to negativity or positive notions... You can't define honesty as if it can be shaded in different colors of offensive language or not, what you're meaning to say is that there is constructive criticism and brutal criticism (or a form similar) but if he is 'honest' then, whether good or bad, that implies the definition and there is no way to shade it as positive or negative on his end and only on the person he's casting the light on.

You could argue that he was perhaps a bit childish : P

I appreciate that honesty. It's something not a lot of people have.

I don't really care if Greg is out of EG. I will still cheer on him and still follow his games and support him no matter what team he is in, because he's one of the few non hypocrytical and straightforward players currently on the scene.

It's not honestly. It's negative "honesty". Never positive "honesty". How is that any better than just positive "honesty"?

I don't think morality is an issue in regards of honesty.
How the fuck can honesty be bad?

I don't really give a flying fuck if people like the things I say. If I wanna state something, I will.
Greg does the exact same thing. Some people don't like it. Some do.
I value honesty more than being liked in the grounds of what I say.
Political correctness is overrated.
Morality is overrated.

One can understand the boundaries on it in regards to the bussiness that eSports is becoming now.
But I value honesty more than anything else.
An honest person will be honest every single time, and that is more valuable than morality, at least on my eyes.
If some people don't like it, it's fine. I respect your view on things, but I really don't share it.

"How the fuck can honesty be bad?"

Since when is honesty naturally objective or wise? I short since when does it makes sence.
"C'est au pied du mur, qu'on voit le mieux...le mur".
