This made me sad

I think they wanted to have an excuse to let him go cuz even if he had no results he was the main figure of EG and i think they want to build a new figure. So many people new people in sc2 that don t care about ex legends like jaedong and his kind and greg was by faar the biggest name.

Some people actually have positive outlooks.

That's interesting because I also own a business with a staff, and I would have fired Idra a long time ago. The most important part of running a business is to know when to cut your losses. Idra became a liability (I would say this actually happened with his comments about David Kim). There will always be other players, new rising stars, etc. It's simply not worth it to keep someone with Idra's mind state on a team. He can be replaced. In fact, that's something everyone should learn, you can always be replaced. If idra worked for you and you fired him in this hypothetical situation you would lose thousands of fans and gain what? How is that good business? If you really believe EG will gain respect for this you are a fool. You overestimate the power of Idra's "fan base'. I am one of Idra's "typical" fans, which constitutes the majority of his viewership, not those trolls in his chat-room or die-hard, obsessed fans. What makes me a typical fan is that I was never invested in Idra emotionally or personally, but I still cheered for at all of his matchups. Most of us are done with Idra. I'm sorry to break the news, but when you call all of the casual viewers - the majority of your fan base, a "bunch of fucks" you tend to lose guys like us.
Why do you make stuff up and pretend to put your self in the shoes of an Idra fan to make a point? That's just low. Additionally judging from your previous posts I think its safe to say you were never a fan.

Wishful thinking I know. So he has to apologize on twitter every time he balance whines and rage-quits?

Hope he finds a team soon... This kinda sucks

I'd like smarter players to say what they think if possible.

Makes me a little sad. I don't think he likes the game anymore but still wanted to play at the same time.

amazing what a good attitude can do to a career

Because the opportunity cost of keeping "exposure/traffic" is for something worse to happen down the road. It takes years to build trust, but seconds to break it. Note, I'm not just talking about fans here.
You're also assuming that losing exposure/traffic is somehow permanent. Part of the business decisions you make are sometimes about short term loses for long term gains. I'm not convinced there will be much of the former however.

He has to train hard, ditch his "dgaf" bad boy attitude, and make it to the finals of a major tournament while being manner and respectable.

LOLOLOLOL IdrA is eSports? Joke of the year, hands down. Also, I don't think as a "boss" you would have such bad grammatical errors. Grammar is not required to start up a multi- million dollar business, that's what secretaries are for. I live in Indian wells, some folks here can't spel beter then the intrnet peepul but they stil driv a furarri son. Sure, it's embarrassing until they tell you the story of how they overcame severe dyslexia. Yeah. Shut up. I take offense because MY BOSS can't spell an he is one of the coolest people I've met. He's not the dyslexic and he drives a luxury truck but he just felt spelling was unnecessary until it was kind of too late.
You can defend his spelling all you like, but you can't defend the hiLOLarity of what he actually said. That's impossible. I'm actually still laughing from it even now.

Telling people you are being paid to s*** on community? Think what that implies about EG. That's an insult from Idra.

His bo7 showmatch when he gg'ed 2 times when seeing a proxy rax then just 6 pooled twice was a start (it started before, but before it was just antics and could be funny). After that he just did that every game, pure self destruction, or like he wants to be a cool guy that don't give a fuck, but when you overdo it you're not cool anymore, you are a guy with a problem and a weirdo. Everyone who knows him say he's a smart guy, I don't know, perhaps he's an addict and hide in the bathroom to do coke or amphetamine, he's just not acting normal anymore. I guess EG warned him quite a few times already, this time was too much they could tolerate. Lol, do you honestly believe he did that for any other reason, than to get eyes onto him (and by association, EG and its sponsors?) But if you do that for attention, you don't overdo it. 2 years ago his antics were entertaining and rare, now if he played you know that he'd do something dumb and it's all the time so people don't even bother talking about it. He got the attention, now it's time to do something with it. Well it was time, he had the time, now it's too late. Or perhaps he's doing that because he can't accept that he suck at this game so he diverts the attention of people by doing "coups". (pure speculation :D) And despite that he's a quasi celebrity, I'd argue that it'll be pretty hard for any team to recruit him as a player. If you recruit him basically you say "I know he suck as a player and bring nothing to our team, but you'll watch us anyway so we'll have him". A team could recruit him as a janitor, or an accountant, or a player, it would make no difference for their "sportive" strength. His only value is marketing wise, which puts him in a precarious position as a player.
I do have to say however, idra is for sure, "better" than plenty of players on other teams. I can't say he has had good results, or that he is an amazing player. I think though, however it would be difficult to argue that he is horrible or that he is valueless as a player. I think that for him to continue in esports in a positive way, there will definitely need to be some changes.

What can tarababcock do?
You kidding me? TaraBabcock is a supermodel gamer, and it's clear you're just hating on her for her looks. EG should hire her as soon as possible.
She can't play dude....She's platnium. Get real... And she doesn't stream very much. Ms. Spyte has got potential. She just a little more playing time and some good mentors and then she'll be kicking their butts!
