This event is more of a status update to you all to provide you with assurance that we are still alive and kicking. We are currently having issues with the swap from Wings of Liberty to Heart of the Swarm, and have our devs working hard on fixing them. As a way to give you a heads up that we’re still planning on doing things, please enjoy this 200$ Heart of the Swarm tournament and the coverage at PlayhemTV.

Date: Wednesday April 24th
Time: 5:00pm PST // 8:00pm EST
Check-in: Check-in is performed on the tournament page starting :45 minutes before the tournament right up until the tournament begins. Latecomers and players that aren't checked in will be unable to participate
Prizes: $200 prize pool: 1st: $100, 2nd: $60, 3rd: $40
Format: Single Elimination. Quarterfinals and further, Bo3.

Just so people know we are currently unable to add new maps to the tournament map pool. Since whirlwind was the only former map we had we had to set it up for every round. If both players can agree on a different map than that can be played but if not every first map of the round will be Whirlwind. l

Is Playhem ever returning to its daily tournaments? Sorry if it's been announced already, I just haven't really seen much about Playhem since they went down.

If you read the post you'd see that we're having a few problems with the swap to HoTS =). Should be resolved soon. Then we'll be able to do some stuff again.

yeah, All my sc2 info has changed since my last playhem tournament. I was able to sign up, but how are things gonna work out if people have different player info?
Edit: Luka says dw about it and just sign up. So I'm just gonna trust the Playhem admins on this

Meet on the chat channel before the tournament. If there are any problems, yours truly will solve it. Spam me and give me a lil bit of time and I'll get any problem sorted.

Is there a known bug when creating a playhem account and attaching an SC2 Profile to it? I'm getting an error :

If you try to change your bnet info, and remove your old credentials from the box, it won't let you join the tournament anymore. Happened to me the Join button is greyed out now.

I'm no programmer, but my assumption is a few things were changed from the WOL-> HOTS systems for profiles and that's causing the error. It's being worked on.

It doesnt make a lot of sense to me to go offline for i dont know how many months and then randomly come back with a 200$ tourney before fixing the most basic features like registering.
Its not like a month more or less would matter now anyhow.. Rather have a clean start, i would think.
But whatever, i hope the dailies come back soon..
