Jaedong moving to NA, i feel so good for calling it haha.

About why they are all moving, makes sense if they are going to play proleague online, the team still needs to be located on the same place (hence why TL players also go to NA ?)

Speaking as the rating guy, this is a welcome effect. Mixing the rating pools is exactly what we need and Blizzard seems to have managed that at least. I don't mind this invasion at all. My initial apprehension was that this would totally destroy the current GSL season, but if Nazgul is right then this list also includes choices for season 2.

So ultimately, yeah, this isn't that bad.

In all honesty. If foreigners can't beat Koreans when they have much higher incentive to train hard, and when they have tremendous lag, they don't deserve their spots in WCS.

This Korean turnout is very good and I look forward to watching all 3 regional qualifiers with slightly less emphasis on EU due to the poor Korean attendance.

Keep in mind that every country had a WCS last season and Koreans were only playing in the Korean WCS. Thus, non Koreans could actually win something...

On topic edit: I feel sorry for every NA player and it really should've been like in 2012 imo, but I am also really excited for Europe now. It's a great competission now where the EU players still stand a chance I think. This is going to be good.

Blizzard has succeeded in creating a tournament that will pit the best players in the world against each other.

That said, I wouldn't call it the WCS anymore, because the system they've implemented has entirely failed in an equal distribution of talent from around the globe.

Personally, I enjoyed last years regional WCS events and seeing who was the best on a national to regional to global level. Not that I won't be watching this years tournament, its that I no longer see the WCS as a WCG replacement, with the goal of determining a true global champion for SC2 (something I think they could of fully realized if they had chosen too this year).

Best of luck to all regional players who actually reside in the country they are competing in, I will be disappointed if the WCS ends up being 90%+ Korean players.
