REASONABLE REGION LOCKING PLEASE! For Korean players, like Polt, that actually live in NA don't make him play KR because he's Korean but let's be reasonable here . Please don't announce a tournament which starts a mere few days after the announcement and then have all this incomplete information. It would have been better imo to delay the announcement till next season of WCS perhaps and have a shorter WCS season than usual this year. just so much ... sigh...

It appears to be forgotten that Koreans on the whole will struggle to support themselves within their own scene. I mean what tournaments are there there? The GSLs, OSL, Proleague for the Kespa players and what, the Korean weeklies? That's hardly enough for unsalaried players to make any kind of living. MLG was already pretty much de-facto Korean, paying for their flights. That is such a horrendous waste of cash, when they may as well have held an MLG event IN Korea at least once, would have been interesting.

I'm sorry, you're right about Azubu, and CMStorm is debatable because they're a branch of a multi-national company that also has a US headquarters but you're wrong about the rest. Liquid's main office is in NYC as far as I know, that makes them a US team. Axiom is in fact a US team, if you disagree you can listen to TB's latest monologue on why they picked NA for their players. Even with Azubu and CMStorm, that would make 3 players out of 32 in the premiere division, and with no guarantee that they'll be able to qualify or even if they're invited, stay there in the first place. They could drop down if they lose. The rest are all players on NA teams, including one player from the vehemently anti-Korean Root.
