I'm guessing naniwa
Naniwa and Huk. Probably don't expect anyone else.
But expect less Foreigners in Korea.

yeah I dont think most koreans are moving to US for this. They want to be the best and your going to lose skill playing in US period. Maybe the bad bottom koreans moving to US I mean I would if I had to play mvp or innovation

good one
he could choose NA/EU for a better chance at winning more money

Too bad Dreamhack isn't in this :/ Their production is so good.

Surprised this isn't being streamed with so much media there

So are there tiers of prizes for winning certain seasons, whether in one's region or in the season final?

I assume all the SEA players are going to play NA assuming the ping is better to NA.

I'm guessing naniwa good one he could choose NA/EU for a better chance at winning more money well I believe Naniwa said he was going back to Korea in the next few days and he probably knew about the announcement along with pretty much every other pro

Adding foreigners to a league doesn't make it more prestigious. With this format, it's still likely that all the slots will go to code-s Koreans. I disagree. The Koreans still can only grab a little more than a third of the total points. Foreigners should do just fine unless the Koreans play cross region with latency.

Naniwa seems like the kind of guy that would rather win it big via korea than compete with goldfish in the small pond that is NA
hell, he went 30-0 in that swedish tournament yesterday.

Generous breakdown and trickling down of prize money Not too top heavy. That's great news

Australia/NZ gets much better ping to NA than KR, yes. Taiwan gets better ping to KR though.

If I'm understanding this correctly. The 16 at the finals would be top point earners from each season final and the regional events that act as qualifiers for it (gsl, mlg, etc). So we could end up with an all Korean top 16 based on points.
Sounds more prestigious to me.

Nani doesn't care about the money, he just wants to be the best player in the world and therefor wants to compete against the best players.
