For a person trying to get better at a competitive game: How important do you think clan/teams are to your growth as a player? Clan wars were one of the things that really kept the foreigner brood war scene alive for so long (as well as custom ladders like nation wars), and people strove to get on certain teams (for example, in BW Templars of Twilight) as a token of pride. Do you think for a player trying to get better you should be aiming to get in a clan as soon as possible, or are clans more of a honing tool once you're already somewhat good? What aspects of being in a clan are the most beneficial to player growth? Also, Blizzard gave some better tools this expansion to start a clan, but it seems like it's still not that big a part of the game. I personally can't tell you what the good clans are, or who generally have the best players. What can we do as a community to foster a much better clan system that appeals to a large amount of people with a good clan wars/ladders system like we had in Brood War since it doesn't look like Blizzard is going to be of much help in this regard? | ||

Disagree with what Steven said about casting, maybe that was true a year ago, not anymore. Almost all of the casting duos mix up good analysis in their casts now a days. | ||
