I wonder how they'll do in Proleague.
Two things. first off, if you look at the list of teamless players available at the minute, no GSL champion caliber people were available. second off, you claim that oz has been slumping, but i would disagree. just check out his MLG fall championship run. He took out leenock in a best of three, Polt, and hyvaa. not to shabby if you ask me. i really am proud of EG for this pickup, and believe that oz will tear it up!

Nice one, finally another strong Protoss for EG along with JYP.

EG needs to pick up Coca. He is competing in Code A qualifiers and has been dominate in team leagues for as long as he played them.

Well dang. What a big team now

Yeah Coca would be a pretty darn good pick-up.

Poor choices.. These two are not going to be improving the proleague team much.. I'd prefer for them to pick up some up-and-comers rather than pay some mediocre veterans like alive and Oz.. I'm calling it now.. This will not improve the roster as much as they are hoping.

I doubt aLive is gonna rep the EG-TL Terran line any better than Taeja, Thorzain and PuMa were able to do so far. This pickup feels more like a "charity case" from Hwanni and EG where they pick up aLive because he knows them and he wasn't able to find any other decent team, and at the same time EG-TL was in need of depth and terrans so they took the chance. I don't think it will pay off, but let's see.
Oz on the other hand is a really good pickup for EG and the Proleague lineup. HotS favours his style a lot, if he gets the right backing and finds the right motivation and everything clicks for him I think he will actually end up being the EG-TL ace tbh. He also has some Proleague experience from BW (even tho it wasn't a good one) and his mentality versus KeSPA players is not a problem from reading interviews and stuff.

Oh man I forgot about Puzzle! I don't know tho. Coca has been a really solid player, up until SlayerS demise. Maybe EGTL can come together and contract them as a joint venture. Although looking at the overall lineup, they are in desperate need of Terrans. They missed their chance at getting some talent before Azubu took all the free agents. Slim pickens right now.

wow, i guess with the competition from kespa gom players are probably a lil easier to afford, which makes sense. Regardless, huge signing for eg, both these players dominated and lead their respective races for a chunk of time. Can't wait to see EG in a few months in teamleague

nice picks for EG...:D they'll need more terrans n toss in HOTS...
what about flash

BOOM goes Finatic.... atleast i get to see them stream more now...

I doubt EG is overpaying these pick-ups and got a decent price on them. Right now they need meat and both these players could really use a house to play in.

Ok, so people are calling Oz and Alive 'mediocre'.
Hey, maybe their current shape isn't the best, but historically, what the hell? What constitutes a 'good' pickup? If you don't think these two are good, at least say why, or who you'd advocate instead of trashing two solid players.

what about flash Indeed, they should just buy Flash. Forget these guys.... XDDD
Pretty good pickup. I don't think they can do much better as of right now, but still, I wonder how much EG is dedicating to this... Not sure it's going to pay off. Best of luck!!

Oh and EG gets themselves another former TSL player. :D

Compared to ThorZain and PuMa? Alive is a godsend.
