Alive admitted himself that he didn't do anything with the chances Fnatic gave him and that the entire team wasn't practicing as much as they should have.

Kind of disappointed that EG picked them up in light of that, but I guess Hwanni still cares for his boys.

Coach Park and Trot will whoop his ass if he doesn't practice. Hopefully motivation won't be an issue now that he is playing a super prestigious league and on one of the most popular teams.

I think it has more to do with the fact Fnatic is a Western team where players interact with the team managers and the players have more responsibility when it comes to practicing.

I would pick up literally anyone who isn't Oz.

But maybe that's just me, seriously though, literally anybody.

Good for EG. I think this is a great pickup. No it is not Flash, Life or Parting, but they probably don't get 6 figure salaries either. Alive and Oz have both shown that they can be solid players capable of competing at the highest level for extended periods of time. Both have gone a bit downhill, but with changing teams and not having a proper practice environment it is understandable. EG-TL seems to have the ideal conditions to get Oz and Alive in top shape again with the acquisition of coach Park and having Oz and Alive focus primarily on PL.

as I said in a post ages ago, Alive will join EG, he is seen in their shared team house with TL in Korea during a video on proleague!

Grats to both players, good to see them snatched up.

I have a lot of good memories from both of these players from back in 2011, I hope they put on quite a showing. Then again, I'd love to see Huk be at a level where he can contribute to the proleague roster being that he's been in Korea for what feels like forever. One can hope at least.

Definitely looking forward to round 4.

Everybody knows that Coca has dramatic issues from Slayers. No team in their right mind would pick him up, even if the accusation was false; he already has a bad reputation.

Plus, he have no accomplishments except people kept saying he's great, but remember this was in WoL when Zerg are dominating the scene.

Except remember Zerg did not dominate WoL. They dominated the end of WoL. Coca was in code S July 2011 to GSL Nov 2011 where the distributions in the first rounds where:
July: 9P, 16T, 8Z
Aug: 8P, 17T, 7Z
Oct: 5P, 20T, 7Z
Nov: 5P, 19T, 8Z
Are you really claiming that zerg was dominating the scene at this point?

alive is a quality player, with a good run and a little luck, he's a tournament contender for sure. Always thought he was an excellent player, all though he's faded a bit. Seems to be a huge amount of quality terrans around now so I can't blame him.

Oz is a solid player as well. Equally as good if not better than JYP imo.

nice additions to the roster.

But maybe that's just me, seriously though, literally anybody.

He's as close to perfect a player as you can pickup right now for Proleague's format.

Known for one-off prepared map/race specific builds.
Helped out at least a bit in the coaching department
Often comes up with innovative ideas that other players can really flesh out.

Even if he doesn't play much as a psuedo-coach and practice partner he'd be worth a punt on. There are far, far worse pickups than Oz

It was in one of the ESV weeklies against Byun if I remember correctly. That is when Coca was on SlayerS and I think Byun had just left Zenex and joined Prime, so it was against a former teammate.

Edit: Edited out all the wrong information and added the correct information, sorry about that shouldn't of talked about it until I looked it up again because it was a long time ago and was hard for me to remember all the correct information.

It was in one of the ESV weeklies that gave a spot for Code A against Taeja if I remember correctly.

in the Ro32 of an ESV weekly tournament where the winner got a seed into a 16 player tournament where the winner got a Code A spot. Against Byun.

Stakes were waaaaaay lower than people make them sound in retrospect

Coca is a quite a popular player, and he's pretty accomplished. He got 2nd at MLG, losing only to Bomber, and made the Ro8 for GSL. This was when Terrans like Mvp and MMA were in form.

He also had a 100% ZvP winrate during 2011, which was cool
