Edit: beat to it by a thousand people.
Good pickups, I'm not the biggest fan of aLive although he a is a very good player. Oz, on the other hand, I absolutely love.

It was in one of the ESV weeklies that gave a spot for Code A against Taeja if I remember correctly. That is when Coca was on SlayerS and I think Taeja had just left Zenex, so it was against a former teammate. No, it was against Byun.
Yeah I just edited, I just remembering it being one of the Zenex Terrans and Taeja was the first that came to mind, so that is 100% my fault, hopefully I don't get burned at the stake.

Sorry man, but we've already prepared the firewood. To the stake you go!

I know Alex said in an interview recently that the new additions will be on 6 month contracts. Really puts a lot of pressure on the players to preform in Proleague right away.

Alive admitted himself that he didn't do anything with the chances Fnatic gave him and that the entire team wasn't practicing as much as they should have.
Kind of disappointed that EG picked them up in light of that, but I guess Hwanni still cares for his boys. Coach Park and Trot will whoop his ass if he doesn't practice. Hopefully motivation won't be an issue now that he is playing a super prestigious league and on one of the most popular teams. I think it has more to do with the fact Fnatic is a Western team where players interact with the team managers and the players have more responsibility when it comes to practicing. Who would you pick-up then? They don't have a farm system set up for fishing out prospects. What do you do? Go with the names out there. I would pick up literally anyone who isn't Oz. But maybe that's just me, seriously though, literally anybody.
LITERALLY anyone but Oz? I mean, how about you name someone on the market to be picked up that makes more sense than Oz....seems like a great pickup to me as his style works well with proleague...

yes, this means Oz streaming ^_^

Wow.. EG is like the Yankees or the Lakers, only without the winning.
|
Good pickups, especially for filling out their Proleague roster...which makes me wish we could get back to actual Proleague sometime soon.

My favorite player joins my least favorite team. Well, such is life! Will continue to stand by Hak Su throughout everything, and I'm glad he'll be able to participate in more tournaments now :D

Oz is very good at preparing. He should be able to show some very well mapped out build orders and games and be used effectively to snipe certain players. Alive on the other hand is generally a very strong macro oriented terran and should thrive under Coach Park, who's had such a history of success in developing high level terrans.
Excellent additions, and assuming they are available immediately (don't know how feasible this is with Kespa and PL), should really bolster EG-TL's lineup and increase their success. Looking forward to it.
