Anyone else get goosebumps reading this news? The future looks bright, and the thing about region lock, maybe NASL or Blizzard will broadcast the NA scene and ESL for EU scene. Remember Blizzard was willing to hire some IPL workers...they maybe setting up their own broadcast for the NA tournament much like how Riot runs their Championship Series for each region.

I wish it'd be more like Gom becoming the MBC equivalent and GSL running alongside the OSL just like the MSL used to. Then bring the ESF teams in to form an expanded proleague with half of the games going to each studio.

edit: though seeing as Blizzard's behind this move it's probably gonna be a shitstorm

Yeah, that would have been the reasonable and smart thing to do. Would have also made everyone the most money. 3 years ago, 2 years ago, 1 year ago and now. But you forget about the egos... they HATE each other. Why do the obvious choice when you can hatch random nonsensical plots?

I don't know the reason for the doom and gloom in this thread. We don't really know, in any detail, how this even concerns Kespa. It could be a few organizations trying to unify (which they have every right to), and Kespa sees this as losing power. Boo hoo. Obviously they won't be happy. It doesn't mean that the other organizations are bad or it will be bad for the scene.

bad date to announce something, 404 error day :o . But wow Blizzard seems to have made a huge esport planning thing for HotS. Guess they wanted to wait and see how popular WoL will be before investing to much into it.
Hope it is more of an well planned agreement and not a Blizzard forces the others with License rights.
