You'll have more info pretty soon. I wish companies out here were a bit more prompt on delivering news, but this is how it is.

Even if they're not as popular as OGN, they're still on TV... it looks like they're showing the NCAA basketball tournament right now, I didn't know anyone outside the US cared about that >_> I stand corrected. Their production value is much lower than OGN, however.

However, as a fan of e-sports, I really wish this doesn't harm the Proleague in any way. I got into e-sports solely because of Proleague, and for an average Korean person, the easiest way to be exposed to the e-sports scene is the PL. It's broadcasted on OGN, which most households have on their TV, and the team aspect is similar to other professional sports. It's much harder to sit down in front of your computer and say "hey I think I'm gonna watch some professional gaming today!" and watch GOMTV or SPOTV streams than come across PL while browsing through channels on your TV. I support any new SC2 league in Korea, I just don't want it to harm the expansion of e-sports or SC2 as an e-sport in Korea. why so much naysaying before there is even an announcement....

The article is speculating as well, so I apologize for getting so heated up. It's really late at night after all

If OGN is suddenly willing to partner up with Blizzard/GOM over KeSPA, surely it would take something really crazy to make them turn completely tail on their 10 year partner. Besides, aren't GOM and OGN competitors themselves, as broadcasting companies? Why would they ever want to work together? Because everybody benefits. It's the same reason MBCGame and OGN cooperated to broadcast a unified Proleague over so many years.

Can someone tell me how to edit the title? It was to be "A very big change in KR SC2 scene will be announced(0404)", but I, somehow, omitted the "change" making it shorter.

Um, the OSL commentator showed how he was depressed recently on his twitter. Gisado(GSL commentator) and the head-editor of TIG had a conversation like "People will be more surprised when the renaming comes out" when there was a such big trouble with the English client for the first day of GSTL. Also, lots of fans in Korean are panicking because of the rumor that OSL is over.
