A while back someone compared EGTL to Team England, now they are literally following the same story trajectory: Step 1: Assemble a crew of overhyped players and call them the Dream Team, Golden Generation, or whatever Step 2: Watch them underperform as they fail to gel as a team and get beaten by "inferior" teams which are in reality considerably more talented than they've been credit for. Step 3: Fire (or demote) your coach and hire the biggest foreign name in the business with a cabinet full of silverware Step 4: Watch as said coach achieves exactly the same results as he is frustrated by not being to impose his absolute authority over an undisciplined team, and is unable to understand or reach across a gap in cultural values Guus Hiddink? Try "Don" Fabio Capello. HAHA! nice :-) COACH PARK! I LIKE! i hope he can extract the potential of the team. gl hf :-)

Try "Don" Fabio Capello. People just look to reasons/find excuses anywhere and where does it usually begin? The coaching staff. Starcraft never really was a team sport when you look at the bigger picture. That isn't to say Kespa teams do put a lot of focus on practicing for PL; however, every player wants to reach out and grab those individual titles. They say it in their interviews all the time. This dates back to the Brood War days as well. They want that individual sense of accomplishment and considering there's far more tournaments internationally now... they have a lot more opportunities to do so. You want to see players earn their keep? Make the contract more incentive based on improving their results and other figures like followers, stream numbers, etc. considering we are talking about team EG after all.

Try "Don" Fabio Capello. this would be like the perfect, "worst case" analogy (it hinges on whether or not you really believe if EG-TL lacks in talent, or if they're just not playing up to their potential in PL) still, if EG-TL finished in the knockout round of PL (is that the EU/WC Ro8 equiv?), I think many people would consider that a success it's not like England where people are disappointed when they don't win the entire thing
