he will take egtl to ro4 o my GOD this is hilarious! A while back someone compared EGTL to Team England, now they are literally following the same story trajectory:
Step 1: Assemble a crew of overhyped players and call them the Dream Team, Golden Generation, or whatever Step 2: Watch them underperform as they fail to gel as a team and get beaten by "inferior" teams which are in reality considerably more talented than they've been credit for. Step 3: Fire (or demote) your coach and hire the biggest foreign name in the business with a cabinet full of silverware Step 4: Watch as said coach achieves exactly the same results as he is frustrated by not being to impose his absolute authority over an undisciplined team, and is unable to understand or reach across a gap in cultural values
Guus Hiddink? Try "Don" Fabio Capello.

Thx for all your service in SKT, best of lucks Coach Park.

great for EG-TL :O he stepped down when he had a kid afair. Not completely sure tho but Boxer took over right after. kid affair? Am I missing something here? afair is an abbreviation(has some fancy name but i forget) for as far as i remember; although he probably could have gone with afaik so as to not have confusion. but he probably didnt realise it could me misinterpreted.
LOL yeah sorry misspell, I meant afair (as far as I rememebr) hahaha

Big. It's gonna get worse for EG-TL if they still can't deliver... but hopefully they should, the players are definitely good enough, they just need to get used to the environment.
Also, new players! I wonder who...

you spelled it right he just read it as affair since afair isn't that commonly used (I'm assuming since i rarely see it used)

Err... no. WJS had the second best record round 1 at 5-2 (+9). No team went 0-7. Also, there are 3 rounds left.

time to pull them out of last place!

I doubt this will have an impact as immediate as everyone thinks it'll have. Still a new game with a new meta.
|
Incontrol wasn't kidding, this could be big. Or it could be completely meaningless, depending on how well the players take the new coach. Regardless, I want to see EGTL to succeed so badly that I blindly believe in this being a miracle.
Maybe get IdrA back to Korea, with 24/7 practice, the best coach in the world, a sports psychiatrist and all the support money can buy, he could conceivably compete with foreign semi-pros again.
|
Wooaaaahhh That's actually a really big deal. They're really going for this. I was a bit worried that EGTL would maybe just quit after this season and cut their losses, but now they get Coach Park and they're thinking about adding new players to the roster? That's nuts. Good luck guys.

This is pretty cool. I thought Coach Park was done. Glad to see him back. Hopefully he'll pull EGTL up.
|
Woah. This is huge. I can't wait to see how he will change the team.
|
Wow, pretty cool. Wonder how much the EG-TL players will improve
