I especially respect Jinro and Idra for this because he lived on his own in Korea, qualified, and actually made his way through the tournament all the way to ro16/ro8/ro4. That has truly never been matched by any other foreigners in my opinion. The rest of the guys mentioned also at least had respect and performed reasonably well too. (Huk more so than others but yeah). Funny thing is that I remember Idra being the first to give up his Code S spot, so he can concentrate on US tournaments, starting the trend to do this. There will always be a Hero version and a Villain version to what people do.

Remember the 49code A spots? Stephano was put in the schedule, even his teammate assumed he would play and suddenly he announces on twitter he aint going to. What about Rain, aLive , Ganzi, ForGG etc etc ? No one cares . But eh its Stephano so let's email sponsors and insult him a little bit because we are so much better than him .

People didn't even give a damn when Thorzain actually forfeited his Up&Down matches in order to "focus on WCS EU Championships", an event that was two weeks away and where he then got knocked out in the second round of the Loser's Bracket. Announced through Twitter, mind you. It's a bit irrational, all of this. Indeed it is.

Stephano said he would forfeit because he would already be on the plane which is clearly not the case. More announcements tomorrow though I guess to confirm

It was also him moving back to america. He also was "on top" at the time. Hell GSL even did a damn tribute video to him. No villain side at all. On a side note, good job TL! EG caved to the crazy pressure that exploded from that tweet and he will have to honor his committments to GSL after all. ![]()

But no, IdrA's history in the GSL, and how he eventually moved on after leaving the scene, was far different than what Stephano is doing. IdrA's was long, well-deserved, and respectful. And not dropping out all of a sudden like this.
