Personally i feel sorry for them because they know themselves that they are only in pro teams for marketing reasons that have very little to do with competing or game itself. I don't have the extensive background knowledge of the advertising industry so its very hard for me to comprehend why girls would get more marketing than guys. TB is right I'm a moron flo didn't get picked up by a progaming team because she is a girl and has some hidden ROI value

Quite frankly, and not to be offensive to Flo, she isn't horrible at SCII or anything, but I'd much rather support Fionn than her. It's nice to see girls play competitively, but the QUALITY of Fionn's write-ups are top-tier! I'd be way more likely to purchase something sponsoring Fionn than Flo. Not that I would ever buy something specifically because it sponsors someone...

Some males might find it offensive that they try harder/just as hard as some females, but don't receive any publicity/sponsors/etc. There are obviously huge biological and cultural differences between males and females, which would explain the lack of female pro-gamers. It makes sense that people would follow a female pro-gamer over a male. The females are over-coming challenges that males do not face. But it's hard to say whether or not that is actually increasing or decreasing the overall "equality" between genders.

Just remember.. it maybe $300+ for a chair... but you will probably buy one for 10 years or so!! I bought one and have 0 regrets... one year in and it's still the same as when i bought it ... absolutely amazing... I am perfectly comfortable at all times... and even fall asleep regularly after a days work... because it's uber comfy when your just relaxing watching a stream. I think anybody who is making do with a "crappy chair" is a fool.. because your back is very important and it's a known problem that all gamers sit in poorly postured positions.. I'm not affilated with this company just a very happy customer.. as a customer with a back problem before buying this chair due to terrible posture over long periods of time.. to a happy non injured guy ![]() Just think ... and treat yourselves
