You already got something that you payed for, you got the play on different regions earlier then the rest of the people that didn't buy multiple accounts. Now that everyone can do it suddenly you want something else you didn't pay for? What kind of reasoning is that?

I mean they had global support for Warcraft 3 (not sure about Starcraft, and Warcraft 2), so its really no excuse not to have it in Starcraft 2 from the beginning. Also how do you know its relatively marginal? You'd have to find the number of extra copies of WoL that were sold to people who bought them for the purpose of playing on other regions. It's not a business strategy. You're VASTLY overestimating the % of people who would even consider buying more than one account/license.
On January 27 2013 07:09 emythrel wrote: how are they worthless? now you get 2 or 3 accounts for each region...... and you only need to buy 1 copy of hots to get access on all your accounts by the look of it, if they are on same bnet account "If you have more than one regional copy of Wings of Liberty and want to upgrade to Heart of the Swarm, you only need to upgrade one of them. The Heart of the Swarm upgrade applies to all regional versions of Wings of Liberty on your Battle.net account." so you effectively get free copies of hots, stop bitching now pls!
nuke that. seems when i login via europe to US server, i get my us account, not a new one. seems we are gettin screwed, guess i'll be moving my other accounts to separate bnet accounts then!

But i wanna propose another Solution: Please Blizzard implement this for Global Play: ![]() Multiple Copys of StarCraft II on one Battle.Net Account! I think this would be the best solution for Blizzard and for us customers

For example: At release someone buys NA account then later buys an EU account with the same email address, but with the release of global play, instead of having two seperate licenses they have been merged as one. Instead of owning two accounts that have access to global play, we only have one account like everyone else who bought one game. It's not really a BIG deal, but it is money wasted if they don't allow us a way to convert the additional account into an actual extra account somehow.

It's more like you buy 2 PC, you can buy to upgrade one, while they make you throw the other into the trash can...

The money paid for those additional copies will be meaningless. Should Blizzard be nice and do something like give free HotS to people who now have multiple copies of SC2 that they were made to buy because of the lack of Global Play? Or is it just a case of screw the customers and they shouldn't get anything? https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/starcraft-ii-global-play-faq Basically we paid twice for WoL in order to get something that is now a part of the base WoL package, so IMO we should get back that money in some fashion. Getting a free copy of HotS seems reasonable, since it was Blizzard being bad at making a game that caused the whole issue in the first place. This isn't true. I plan to use all my copies to have A zerg account, a protoss account, a terran account and a random account. EDIT: Oh... never, ever put a second account on the same email. It's almost always a bad idea. 1: can't sell it, trade it, or give it away 2: Can't multi log on different games with the same bnet account. 3. One forum account. 4. This.

I'll try to keep it short Some of us wanted to play on different servers and bought multiple StarCraft II Copys, but put them on the same Battle.net account. Now with Global Play we have ONE Account with avery Region unlocked. Would i have put my 3 Copys on different Battle.net accounts then I would have THREE Accounts with every Region unlocked! Now we want refunds in any form or way. Earler in this thread i suggested this: I have written a ticket about this issus they told me im screwed and my 100 Euros are gone (i had 3 copys) But i wanna propose another Solution: Please Blizzard implement this for Global Play: Multiple Copys of StarCraft II on one Battle.Net Account! I think this would be the best solution for Blizzard and for us customers
