The OP says there will be interactions between french and english casters, wonder how this will turn out though, and what about the audience? most if not everyone will be french, is there really a need to have the english casters on stage?

Last Iron Squid people from all over the world went to the french stream even if they didn't understand anything but because they felt it was good, for one they could hear passion and crazyness in the voice of the commentators. If the french scene is what it is today (well not the best one but at least we have various event) its at least 70% thanks to them, otherwise our scene would be as dead ad the Italian one.

The best french and english caster are here it will be hard to choose, but I will stay with Pomf & Thud. Ironsquid production is amazing. There will be of course live playing music theme by In Uchronia and some surprise. Also tonight, there is a day9daily on OgamingTV.net the website of ironsquid crew. The players (DRG, Life, MKP, Nestea !) will sign autograph in a Numericable store (sponsor) tomorrow. I clearly think this will just be the best WoL tournament ever, at least from a french point of view. Ironsquid I was amazing for french TV, but now with Day9, Khaldor, Tod etc in live in Paris it will be just perfection for all viewers. The show will be from 10h30 CET to like 21h00 CET. I hope this article will be on top highlight of TL and that there will be a recap and presentation by the TL crew. Congratulation for all this work. IRONSQUID Fighting !

I think Pomf&Thud have tried to internationalize this tournament a great deal since the first edition, and so far I think they have done a pretty good job. Most casters seem to have enjoyed the organization and I hope viewers have as well (I know I have). Having a preview in TL is a great honor for tournaments and I sincerely believe Iron Squid II deserves one. Pretty please TL writers, bless us with your words.

We want a huge hype of the core of event and sc2, the players! But I'm sure it will arrive soon ![]() Since casters are sadly way more expensive than many players, it is understandable that they hype what cost them the most: the location and the casters. And about the casters, I think Pomf and Thud are a really big reason why the french crowd is one of the most passionate (with canada and poland), so they have to cast the game for the audience. This is one of the main features of the event. I'm curious to see how they make the english/french interaction work! Please TL, highlight this wonderful event. Ok, you didn't post a countdown like you do often, you probably won't post a write up either, but at least put the annoncement in the frontpage. Last but not least, I can't wait for my favorite tournament ever!!

I'd say so. Watching a broadcast with disembodied voices is very sad. While I am sure that the ad revenue pales in comparison to the ticket sales, international viewers are still important.

Liquipedia only mentions it starting at 10AM CET ![]() All the following schedule are CET (GMT+1) and from Ogaming/Pomf&Thud facebook. 9h30-10h Opening for the doors in Paris Palais des Congrés. 11h Stream starting and opening ceremony surprise 13h22-?? Lunch pause (no food allowed in the place) 21h-22h End I don't know exactly when all games are scheduled but this tournament is like a show, there will be showmatch, inuchronia in live playing the theme songs, and you can't really know how much each match will last so that's all i know. ![]() Pomf Thud Day9 Kaelaris today in Paris Pomf&Thud. (Thud tee-shirt is on of the goodies they will sell in the event and later on their website).

People went to the French stream because you could hear the crowd and they don't understand what the casters say. Pomf & Thud are good casters for intensity but are just terrible at analytic casting. Anoss is probably one of the worst casters I've ever heard. Moman could be good because he knows the game much better than the others, but he speaks like a 13 years old and it's really painful to hear. I'll be there anyway for the intensity of live games and because I love SC2, but if I could have Day9 and Khaldor casting instead of Pomf & Thud on stage I would be the happiest nerd ever.
