Always humbles me to know that I was wrong on the Esf vs Kespa thing, I thought the early foundation esf had would keep them going really strong for a while, but now having more information about the amount of power and understanding of the industry that Kespa has I feel like an idiot for not realizing this earlier. Anyway, my post sounds more negative about esf then it should as esf still has some teams that should be fine for a while, but Kespa is starting to gain the edge.

yeah same here. it's weird because it seemed clear to me that startale started doing really well again when life rose up. Suddenly Parting, Hack, Bomber, Curious and Squirtle start performing rather well.

And now they are leaving the team one after the other?? What's going on??

Not good for esports that's for sure.

I guess players want to get paid but teams are still poor. Sucks.
Try another route paperboy.

Wow the end of the WOL era is soon arriving and with it the era of many teams that were present when it joined the eSports ranks. Seriously what's up with these teams? TSL going down is where things really started to look like something was not right and now ST is showing similar problems, I have a feeling the HOTS era will be dominated by Kespa teams with IM being the sole ESF force later on down the line.

Squirtle will be fine as he's the smartest Protoss player in the world, much like MVP does for Terran he comes up with the strats and builds so he'll find a team soon.

dominated by kespa teams with exESF players maybe xD except a few select kespa players the others are way worse...I mean if revival who never got in the gsl manages to all kill or be close to all kill in proleague like everytime he's send says something xD

Care to explain what are you talking about?
Because appart from revival´s 2 wins against SKT on jan,8, im not seing his all-kill or 3 wins (Close to all kill).
Or are you saying everything over 1 win is close to all-kill?
Maybe we just think diferent, but for me a 3x2 record, isn´t owning.

VINES isn't on ST...so why would that ever matter?

This game has taken a tremendous hit in popularity the last 6 months. Just last night during primetime there were only 3,000 people viewing SC2 streams on twitch.tv. That's the lowest number I can ever remember seeing. I think everyone from the teams to the sponsors expected more from this game. I think the teams that have been around for SC2's entire lifespan have a more realistic understanding of where this game stands and what its future is. I think the players are banking on KESPA being a little slow to catch on to just how bad things really are.

Yeah, but remember. KESPA primary focus is on Korea and TV.

Are you sure about that? My perception is that the numbers have been on the rise for the last few weeks, with popular streamers like Idra, Jaedong, Stephano hitting very high 2011ish numbers. Heck, even Huk hit 4k just a few hours ago. Maybe you just looked at a bad time?
I think this recovery was discussed on th ITG as well.

I think Squirtle leaving doesn't make much sense, since with Parting's departure, wouldn't he have been in a position to ask for higher salary as newest best protoss on the team?
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.
