That sucks :/ Wouldn't mind seeing Nani on fnatic, seems like it would be a good fit for both. Nani and nightend were both und players in war3 and both toss in sc2 ^_^. Naniwa and NightEnd dont really have the best relationship, still think Fnatic should go with an all swedish lineup. Its worked for them in other games before and communication would be a lot easier since cArns from Sweden. I'd love to see something like:
Naniwa SaSe Seiplo Bischu MorroW (as T) SortOf

Maybe they are shutting down the house because they will be starting up the Fnatic Starleague (FSL) and the newly built studio will also house the team! Am I dreaming too big?

I'm not surprised so many foreign teams don't renew their contracts with Koreans. Outside of winning tournaments they are in general not that good for promoting the teams and their sponsors. Most Koreans in foreign teams could thus be seen as mercenaries (was a popular concept in WC3).
I doubt we'll see fnatic signing any new Koreans in a while. I bet we'll not see them making any big foreign recruits either until a couple of months into HotS. Financially it's hard to estimate the value of a SC2 team now and fnatic as a long running succesive organisation is well aware of this. (Same goes for the compLexity situation.)

From what I can see the place was clearly too big to justify the costs. Not surprised at that, the place is like prime real estate given its location :-S Dunno why they leased such an expensive apartment in the first place...

Or EGTL to replace one of those teams. Would love to see them in the GSTL.

Can you play in the GSTL with only 6 players??

It seems like its just the gaming house being shut down and not the SC2 team - the sky is not falling

Hwanni what have you done?!

I don't think it'd be silly at all. It's more practice and is always a all-kill format; whereas, Pro League only two rounds are all-kill, rest are individual. It would also possibly increase viewers for GSTL for GSL. Not to mention, Stephano could have the possibility to all kill any team in the GSTL.

Not really that surprising. I believe that the only way foreign team houses can pull in enough attention to justify a team house in korea is by playing in GSTL or Proleague to keep attention coming in for their whole team and not just specific individuals who have success in tournaments.

Naniwa and NightEnd dont really have the best relationship...
Referring to their time as teammates on mTw?
|
They are probably just moving to a bigger house ... right? right???? it has to be.... =(

This announcement is very close to the one of axiom finding a house. Maybe they bought this one? They said "as soon as january 10th" iirc. Would make sense if this is in a good location close to the gom studios.

fnatic should go back to be a foreign team ... way more famous then !
|
Damn, I'm kinda surprised by this. I don't want another disband

Too big? It was just a apartment where they could barely fit their all the computers etc with bulkbeads or am I completely wrong here?

When I did see Hwanni did leave/got money offer from EG, I didn't see this gaming house last long.

G.G.
Well the funeral is more the suspicion that SC2 is losing more ground. If they leave Korea, the sacred land of esports, this doesn't bode well for SC2.
I don't think we need to fear that any big and old multi-game-team will disband because of it's SC2 division...
