DoA tells the story from what he knows to spread the news KeSPA was keeping to themselves so obviously his message and attempt to share info was "distorted" because no one else would share what was actually going on... I really hate the need for secrecy that KeSPA holds so dear...

How do you people enjoy this tournament. Listening to the English casters over the Korean casters was pathetic. This whole league felt half assed (excluding player skill). Combine the low production value with eg's performance and we have a league not worth watching.

Plus the maps are an attempt at doing something different.

Also, yes maps are IMBA for certain races but that's the point of Proleague (team league in general) because teams see maps in advance. So if a map is favored for T vs Z, teams would obviously not send out Zs (generally speaking) in that map.

Anyway, yeah... kudos for KeSPA for trying out weird maps.

I will be watching!

But I do listen to the casters. I think good casters make matches better. As for rooting for the foreigners they were not actually foreigners it was Koreans on a foreigner team plus one foreigner and the reason I was so disappointed was because they are the only people in this league I have interest in watching and today made it clear its not worth my time, much less my money.

Maybe Ver is not that far off the mark after all.

No one disputes the Korean Kespa players quality. The viewing quality of proleague which is considerably poorer is what's at issue.

Translation:

Whaa, my misguided view of the pro SC2 scene led me to pay 5 dollars, an amount of money that I could've spent on a whole cup of coffee somewhere else, to a deserving eSports league. I'm pissed off and mad that the one team I care about disappointed, so I'm going to blame everyone from the casters to the players on EGTL for this league being a complete failure because I, one person out of the 20,000+ that watched live tonight, am not satisfied.

According to the LR threads at least, it was more worth watching than the GSTL finals.

I don't understand the problem here... I'm out of the circle for a long time, but this morning I checked the stream on TL and there's English commentary, the VODs are also uploaded on Youtube as freevods.

So basically it's the same as before : free stream, free Vods and now we have an English Stream also.

I don't get it why people keep saying "no English commentary", "pay for view" ???? From my eyes Kespa has done what they always did, especially the free stream and free vods make proleague the best league over other paying leagues.
