The difference is that slayers disbanded so it's not a transfer, skt just picked up a teamless player who happened to have been a ex slayers member. Think of it as a loophole. @Mandalor: There currently is no eSF team that kespa could "just" buy, all remaining eSF teams are very stable financially and have big enough sponsor contracts going on that you can't just buy them if you feel like it. Prime. They lack serious money.

If KeSPA fucked them over by breaking the agreement or the spirit of the agreement, then ESF would withdraw from OSL and stop all cooperation with KeSPA/OSL. And they may force foreign organizations to take sides telling them "you either work with us or KeSPA, but not both". It would hurt both parties terribly and therefore KeSPA cannot just do whatever the hell it likes. A small version of this was seen when KeSPA didn't want to participate in GSL initially, and ESF then withdrew temporarily from the OSL. ESF doesn't really have any real leverage in that hypothetical situation, I mean when kespa buys all esf players, esf has no players that they can pull out. And foreign organizations, like mlg, would never side with esf. MLG gets way more hype because of the kespa than any other esf player could ever achieve.
